Hey guys I've been running some builds, and as this is my first attempt at making a corner I thought I'd ask for a little bit of help with some of the finer details. I'd be interested to know where you think I could improve the build.

One question I had is what is the ideal split for your EQ?, I was thinking of putting 3 pieces into speed and then into one into agility, is that wise or would it be more profitable putting the extra piece into vision?

Cheers Macca

Speed up to 77
Agility up to 73
Vision up to 73
Jumping up to 73
Tackling up to 48
Strength up to 48
Stamina up to 48
Catching up to 30
Confidence up to 23

this is what i got for end build going with that cap order (which for the most part, is the correct cap order...):

strength : 48
speed : 146.59 (+52)
agility : 90.61 (+6)
jumping : 77.59
stamina : 54.49
vision : 81.6
confidence : 50.49
blocking : 6
throwing : 8
catching : 21.49
carrying : 8
tackling : 50.49
kicking : 8
punting : 8

Top SA Tree: | 9(+1) | 5(+1) | 9(+1) | 2(+1) | 9(+7) |
Bottom SA Tree: | 3 | 6 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Additional SA Tree: | 0 |

AEQ:
+SDC
+36% PD chance
+25% avoid fake

Top 4 VAs:
BH
FBG
3DS
LR or clutch

-so to answer your EQ split question, get agility to 90-95, and the rest in speed.
-as for the cap order, strength last. its important, but it doesnt get ALGs... but that doesnt mean its not important. i would try to get it to 60+... which would require taking a cap out of something... likely jumping in this case.
-what training method are you using? as you can see, the build i posted probably exceeds yours, especially when it comes to secondaries.

That was pretty much what I was thinking of, I ran my build again and came out with it below (taking into consideration some changes to SA's),

I'm building by intensely training the first four seasons and training using light training the rest (with a little bit of intense while training off vision for the last time). Training one attribute at a time instead of using multi. That gives me a 1494 BT total at end of build (taking into consideration training mods on tackling and strength). Which will give me 10-16 SP at the end of the build to pump either strength or the bottom tree of the SA's. Which way are you training as confidence may be a large issue with the build as it stands.

The only other alternative could be to keep strength where it is and instead of getting that to 60 get tackling to 60 as that would allow access to DvG, couldn't that be a better way of cutting down missed tackles (or would the stamina hit be too much)

strength : 50.5
speed : 146.09 (93.09 + 52)
agility : 90.75 (84.75 + 6)
jumping : 78.44
stamina : 49.13
vision : 81.44
confidence : 25.49
blocking : 8
throwing : 8
catching : 21.49
carrying : 8
tackling : 50.99
kicking : 8
punting : 8

Top SA Tree: | 7 | 4 | 8 | 1 | 2 | (these are natural)
Bottom SA Tree: | 2 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 |

EQ I was thinking % PD, % avoid fake, SDC and SM or CD. Do you think I should change that to two pieces of %PD?

i like to do this for training:
intense for the first off season
normal on attributes 2 and 3
light on 4 and 5, maybe get a start on 6 (about day 80-199)
multi from day 200-400 on attributes 6-9 (some positions only really have 8, so in that case you would just do three way multi) and enhance the attribute(s) of most importance
and then light through day 440

i also token boost the first season. i wind up with about 1100+ BTs. that should be enough to fully upgrade and shop... although if youre worried, you can always stop multi training a little early. i find this method very flexible in that way as you will start shopping in the midst of multi training.

and i like strength not because of tackling, but because it helps the PD roll when both you and the WR interact with the ball at the same time.
