This one is mine. I'm hoping I get 2 in the rankings next season, now that Bare Feet (African Pro ST MVP) changed up to a different team who is in the WL. I might make horrible DEs but my punters are pure awesome.

Doesn't a top punting average have just as much to do with a poor offense?

Nope, it's more about not allowing touch backs or having your guy flub punts. Now, having a good kicker on your team who can risk 55 yard field goals is important, since that will be short punts your avoiding (which even if executed perfectly would lower your average) but generally unless you are in the most cupcake of leagues you will get 20-40 punts in a season from behind the 50. After that, it's just your punter's skill mixed with a bit of luck. In any one season the best punter in a league may not get an award, but over the long term they will win a lot more than the mediocre ones and the bad ones stand almost no chance of ever getting up there.

Mostly what ^^^ said. Touch backs hurt much more. But I had a guy who was really good at getting the ball inside the 10, but he usually kicked from the short side of the 50, so he is good, but does not have numbers to show for it.

I don't think he has "it" anyway, so I'll be happy with the trophy.
