ugh. i might watch it eventually because sometimes i like to get a good laugh out of a horrible movie.

i gave away my screening ticket to the girl that takes my lunch money, and she didnt even end up going.

i went and saw the hulk and the happening instead, and the hulk was okay, and the happening was absolutely terrible. but it was worth the laughter afterwards.

if you love horrible dialogue, a very good idea ruined by a cheesy explanation and half-assed execution, youll love this movie.

if you love mark wahlberg as an actor, youll hate this movie.

So true man! Mark is a good time I enjoy him in most of his movies but this one he was like a little girl.

Sounds like that Shamalamdingdong guy is getting better, then, since most of the rest of his movies are based on shitty ideas and then ruined by cheesy explanations and half-assed execution.

haha thats exactly right.

The Village was ALMOST a good idea. Of course his over-the-top twist ending ruined it.

M. Night Shwhosyourmamalan writes so many of his movies backwards. It doesn't even matter what happens in the beginning and the middle anymore, because the ending is going to make it all meaningless, either with a dramatic twist, or the complete lack of an ending.

I refused to see the happening and instead decided to just read a spoiler on it for a good laugh. Worst "twist" ever.

the happening didn't really have a twist...

either that... or the twist was "theres no twist!" which was equally stupid because the movie was so bad, you almost NEEDED a twist to save the movie from its misery.

ive seen countless student projects with more meat and potatoes than this one.

I'd just like to see anything. The wife and I have an eleven month old. Seen two movies since she was born. Sweeny Todd, and Sex in the City. Argh.

Funny, funny movie. But my experience with my own child is that 11 month olds just can't be expected to sit through a movie. My daughter is two, and I still won't take her to the theater.

Lol....I just read the synopsis for the happening at IMDB.

Attack of the killer plants! Run!

Don't think I'll be seeing that one. I mean, I like sci-fi, but not if it's ridiculous or absolutely unrealistic/impossible.

going back to Wanted, I was surprised to find that a trusted friend of mine told me to see it. he said it will surprise me. He said the same thing about Iron Man and was absolutely right about that one, so I guess I'm gonna watch it as soon as my back heals (I tweaked it at work, so im immobilized for the moment)
