If you ever want to get Spin to about 8 or so... is finding a spin AEQ piece essential? I've rolled 3 pieces that are good enough to equip and roll with for the rest of my RB's career. Does anyone these days with custom aeq allowed settle for what they've rolled and spend SPs on something so expensive?

yeah, if you roll decent spin AEQ pick it up
either +3 (important att) +1 spin
(sometimes +2 is ok)
or +1 spin.
Oh... i see what you're saying... if the other peices will help you and you won't murder your build by investing i say stick with decent rolls... but if you think spending on Spin will effect your build i say roll 5 times... if you don't find an adequate piece, make one.

I rolled a PT piece... so it'd cost 8 extra SP's to raise Spin to 8, but I guess I'd save SP's on ignoring the Power tree altogether (1 CU, 2 LTS, 4 Stiff Arm = 8 SPs right there) and I'd get to ignore light training about 10-15 TPs than I had planned.
