The Indianapolis X-Men (A-League -cap 60-), after several consecutive losing seasons, have been bought out by long time Hawaii Phoenix team owner ilracefan (owner since season 6). As a native of East Central Illinois and a big Colts fan, ilracefan felt purchasing the team was a huge gamble, but one he wanted to take, as the last winning season in the teams history was season 9. As an A-League team full of washed up veterans, the new owner has decided that a complete roster overhaul was required, already contacting several agents, the new owner is seeking players and coaches alike that are interested in the challenge of turning a long-time losing franchise into a strong contender.

Will the transition be easy, NO, will it require teamwork and dedication, YES! The team is looking for young players and veterans alike, to build a team of capable players that want to be active on forums and be able to share ideas and suggestions. Team owner, ilracefan, does have several seasons of OC experience and will be happy to run the offense temporarily, but would like for someone to step up and take over the defense and turn a bottom tier team into a playoff contender.

Contact ilracefan via PM if you think this sounds like a challenge you would like to get involved in, the team hopes to remain in the A-League for season 18. The current cap for the league is 60, anyone with players in the 40-60 range is welcome to try-out for the team. Every position has openings at this time, so everyone is encouraged to reply!

It has also been leaked that the team is currently in talks with at least 2 Pro level teams for it's use as a Recruitment Team for future talent, so future players may also be showcasing their talents for possible Pro League signings in later seasons.

Team management is coming together, players are already starting to sign with the team, it's good to see that there are people out there willing to take on the challenge of helping to rebuild a team. Look forward to next season and seeing what the future will hold at Indy.

Have had several commitments, still need an O-line and Linbackers the worst. Have upgraded several positions, looking for dual threat QB and defensive backs, and need K and P. (other positions needed as well)

Roster is looking promising for season 18, but still have many holes to fill. Have a few agents coming in with multiple players, could possibly use some more GM help as well.

Team is coming together nicely. Many agents have replied and signed, the team is looking very good, now we need to finish out the roster, with an emphasis on Linbackers, and we have a great shot at a playoff run. Here are the positions we are still looking for:

2 Run Blocking Guards, 2 Centers, Blocking TE, Pass Blocking OT, Pass Rushing DT, Containment DE, , OLBs, FS.
