Does the Right Defensive end usually get more sacks in this game or are they about even? I figure the only way it would make a difference would be if the TE stayed in and blocked in this game but I doubt that happens much.

doesn't matter if built correctly.

My DE has no problem getting sacks from either side, but I do notice my DE gets significantly more tackles at LDE then at RDE. I guess OC in this league is more comfortable running the ball to the right behind an extra TE.

I agree LDE. I think its because the ROT cant get the benefit of the protector SA and have less agility, because they use the run blocking archetype. You sometimes need to get through double teams, but most LDEs have some strength on em.

Double teams with the TE are huge, and you're neglecting the exploit overloads that tend to happen on the weak side away from the potential extra blocker. Never mind that Backs tend to feign pass block attempts through piss poor blocking logic or lack of Vision and/or Agility (looking at YOU FBs).
Favors the RE all the way...

LDE is probably the easier spot at lower levels, but for WL and top Pro teams I think the RDE has more of an advantage.

Unless you want to build a dedicated speed rusher at LDE and get pancaked all day, interpolated by occasional sacks.
