trying to figure out what happened to the LT's in the previous two plays. Is it a strength problem because they are getting pushed back? or would they need more VIS/AGI

First off, you linked the same play twice. Secondly, how are we supposed to have any idea without knowing the stats of at least the Tackles?

No idea. That's weird.

Looked like a bull rush. Lack of strength is my guess based on the little information I can see.

Sorry for the late response, for the LT his stats are this (rounded off to the lower value #)

Strength: 105.42
Speed: 48.72
Agility: 73.27
Stamina: 30.6
Vision: 40.27
Confidence: 48.27
Blocking: 77.27

+15% chance to hold / +3.56 to blocking (from great blocker VA)

Pass Blocking Abilities
Pass Block: 5
Shock Block: 1
Foundation: 1
Absorb Pain: 1
Protector: 5

I'm assuming based off those stats it might be a Vision issue, however the LT gets knocked backed which leads me to assume it's a strength issue, so is 105 STR still not enough if his natural STR is @ 80?

Blocking seems a bit low if anything. Strength might be low in that particular match-up being that he's Run Stuffer archetype and so probably more loaded up on STR than you are. There's not much you can do about that.

I can also say with confidence that none of us really know what the hell's going on with OL these days anyway. But hey, the game's balanced. OL can't block a three-man rush, three DBs can't knock down a pass in triple coverage.

Well the OT is only at lvl 42. So i believe he was trying to soft cap some of the other attributes before bumping up blocking again.

Sounds right. Seems like your LT got shoved back by a high-strength Run Stuffer but kept his balance due to good agility.

Think so too

No doubt

So essentially for for Pass protecting LT's there's not much that they can do to defend against high STR bull rushers

Maybe have higher blocking to hold them longer?

You could also get more Strength by putting more equipment there and take it a cap higher during the early building stages. ;o You'll never be able top a dude with Strength major when you have it as a minor, though. I don't think anyone's ever bothered to drive Blocking to the absurd levels you see on physical attributes, maybe it's the real X-FACTOR.

I don't know whose genius idea it was to give "Run Stuffer" both STR and AGI as major attributes anyway. That's a bunch of bull after they specifically screwed OL players over by refusing to do likewise with any of our archetypes.

Might be strong base taking effect, since that's a favored SA for a run stuffing DE.

That DE doesn't seem to have a great eff. level. If he had a ton of strength he'd probably have a better one by now.

He'd look more like my LDE's effective rating if he had taken strength straight to 81 as well as agility following that.

so essentially Pass blocking LT's are screwed by Run stuffing DE
