What is the best tactic to have for a pass rushing linebacker? I'm wanting to put it on pass focus, but didn't know if that will just make him drop back in coverage instead of rushing the passer.

Well how often you blitz depends on your owner and GM settings. I'd set pass-balanced-run to whichever your opponent favors more.
