Western Conference
Montreal Rulers vs. North Bay Drift (West Game of the Week)
The rulers are coming off a frustrating one-possession loss to the Exiles. The North Bay Drift lost both games so far in an eerily similar fashion 34-45, and 38-45 to two highly touted opponents. These two teams both want the home field advantage come playoffs, and are looking for the perfect opportunity to break out and start a big winning streak. They're both capable of doing it, but I think North Bay's 100 Chemistry is the difference maker in this barn burner.

Jebediah's Oblong Ball Club vs. Providence Radicals
Jebediah stayed true to their word. Their game two loss was due to AI errors, and this youthful team took North Bay to the wire before holding out to win the second. Providence appears to be having some AI issues of their own giving up 48 points to the now rejuvenated Wookies, and being blown out by St. John's. This was supposed to be a matchup of two potential future WL teams before their prime, but one team seems to be a little further along than the other so far.

Windsor Flying Walruses vs. Queensland Exiles
2 of the top teams in the West face off on Tuesday. Queensland is 1-1 with close matches with Hub City and Montreal. They've also won the only ranked scrimmage they played by 20. Windsor is 1-2 in ranked scrimmages, and has only had 1 close game yet this season. I'm going with the former world leaguers in this one, but I think Queensland will just barely squeak by with another close game here. I had this marked as GotW at first, but felt guilty giving Queensland 3 in a row, and there are two other games just as good to watch.

Houston Vikings vs. Nunavut Matters
Houston lost to Village by 42 in the first week, but any Easty will tell you that's not a bad loss. Nunavut just lost to Widow Makers though, a team that has made it clear they're not trying this season; now THAT is a bad loss. The 100 chem, and cohesive defense also look to be in houston's favor.

Thunder Bay Wolverines vs. Claremont Cocks
Claremont giving up 48 to Leaders was ugly. Giving up 59 to Walruses doesn't give me any more confidence in them. Looks like the Cocks' defense is gonna go limp again on Tuesday, as Thunder Bay proves to be too much to swallow.

Nebraska Mania Gorillas vs. Widow Makers
Nebraska still hasn't been challenged yet, but history is in their favor going into this match. Just because the Widow owner started reading the forums doesn't mean they're going to start trying.

St. John's Salty Dogs vs. Prince Rupert Drunken Donkeys
After the Dogs made mince meat of the Radicals, I'd say they look to be strong favorites as one of the top teams in the West. Rupert's losing streak of blowouts looks to continue.

Kansas City Rams vs. Windsor Wildcats
Battle of the basement. In their LOLscrim vs. the CPU Cheeseburgers, KC only won by 4. That's pretty sad gameplan or no gameplan. There's no way I could pick them in this one, even if Windsor has an avg score of 11-114 through 6 games & scrims. Sadly, this is the one I'm having the hardest time predicting.

Eastern Conference
Hub City Hustlers vs. Hudson Bay Horrors (East Game of the Week)
HCH vs. HBH, a classic showdown. Hudson is as of yet untested. They lost a few scrimmages outside of preseason matches, but you can't put any weight into that. They've just been twiddling their thumbs to this point. Hub City however took down the former WL team Queensland Exiles. They lost a shootout with a 1-1 SEAPL team, which lowers my confidence in them. One way or another, these two teams have some history, and aren't gonna bend over. Both of them have served their time in CPL, and are hungry for another silver trophy. Expect a nailbiter here.

Puvirnituq Musketeers vs. Sacramento Vikings
Puvi has had a strong start to their season (albeit a lucky start since Jeb's messed their AI). Sacramento beat the Space Dockers by a similar score as Windsor Walruses did. If I can make a comparison between those two teams, then they're in company. Also, looking over the two rosters, these teams look to be near mirror images of each other, even the chemistry is almost identical. That should make for a very interesting matchup, and should be interesting to see what Sacramento does in their first real Pro League game. I'm taking the Good Guys in this one, even though it's an away game, the CPL vets ain't skerred a nothin!

Niagara Maulers vs. Prince Edward Island Mi'kmaqs
Niagara gave up 50 to Widow Makers, gave up 69 to Bloodweiser. This team went 11-5 last season beating Providence, and Village, but things don't look good for them so far this season. Their 75 chemistry alone tells the change in story here. Prince Edward on the other hand is coming off an 18-2 season and brings a conference championship with their 100 chemistry. They let a win slip out of their hands to Puvi this past weekend, and aren't about to let another one go. In the preseason I would have called this one an upset, but I think Niagara is the one with something to prove. They need to win this one to show they've still got it.

Cobden Muskrats vs. Space Dockers
Space Dockers have had two tough matchups to start the season. Cobden looks to be a bit sluggish so far themselves. Having an inactive owner could be shaking the confidence of the coaches. They've got chemistry, and experience in their corner, so I'm going with my boys in blue one more time. However, I think this one is going to be a lot closer than it should, and this could be the potential upset that knocks Cobden out of the playoff hunt.

Medicine Hat Witch Doctors vs. The Bastard Sons of Doug Flutie
I've got a lot of respect for the Dr.'s as a fellow season 3 Canada A expansion team, we appreciate their longevity, and have seen them up in CPL in the past. Animalmother is a household name for GLBers, but an incomplete roster has made the return more challenging than he'd like, I'm sure. It seems like Flutie has been around CPL for longer than history can remember. This team was down last season, but seems like they're ready for a return. So far through 2 games, and 2 scrimmages, they're 0-4. I'm not fooled by that record though, this team wants to return to glory, and they'll work their way back up to the top, and this, their first win, could start the trend.

Kashyyyk Wookies vs. Danzig Raytheon
Looks like the Wookies could have 2 by weeks here to prepare for Hub City, wouldn't that be a sweet upset on Saturday!

Bloodweiser Bugle All Stars vs. Paradise Cheeseburgers - CPU team no fun

Village Dogs vs. Leaders Gaulois - another bye week, you better plan some more scrimmages before the conference schedule picks up!

Cobden doesn't have an "inactive owner" as you said. Pringles is the most active owner I've ever been on a team with and he's on a short trip. I mean he hasn't logged on in a few days while on vacation.

+1
Everything he said is absolutely true. Pringles is the engine behind the machine and he is on more than most people in this game!!
