It is an RTS(real time strategy), the original is rated one of the top 10 games of all time on the CPU. Starcraft is like a national sport in Korea. Basically you make units and try to kill each other, it is fun.

Will be buying it soon hopefully next Thursday aha ... Couple of friends got it already one played for 8 hours when he first got it

Basically it goes Sims, sims, wow, then Starscraft 2 for the top 4 PC games of all times.

Yeah, almost exactly like that. But there are 3 races... human, protoss and zerg.

i was in the beta, its a really cool game.

I don't really like it, I still greatly prefer warcraft 3 to SC2, despite the decent graphics, really can't compete with the CG community of WC3, I hope that transfers over to SC2 sometime soon so I don't feel as if I wasted my $$$, but tbh I'm still playing warcraft over this.

i was really excited about this game until I realised that it just a space version of Warcraft3

Yea i am not really in to games like that...I tried playing World of Warcraft and all of those and they bored the hell out of me.

World of Warcraft is absolutely nothing like Warcraft...
