I don't really follow this game much anymore, so I don't have the scoop on which of the VAs are sure things and which are polished turds.

Thinking of nixing Sure Tackler during the vet reset for something else.

How would you rank these VAs for a stud blitzer and why?

- Fearsome: Quarterbacks are scared just by this player lining up across from them. Each level of Fearsome gives a +2% chance to cause the QB to feel hurry pressure when this player is blitzing from a LB, SS, or FS position, no matter how close he is.

- Pass Rusher: This player knows how to put pressure on the QB when it counts. Each level of Pass Rusher gives a +2% bonus to agility and strength when rushing the QB on 3rd or 4th down passing plays.

- Technique Man: This player has great technique when fighting blockers. Each level of Technique Man gives a +2% bonus to breaking pass blocks when using the Evasive pass rush tactic, if the blocker has at least 10% agility.
(^^ details for this one; 73.14 base agility (my LB) minus the 10% is 65.826 or less agility for the blocker in order for this thing to fire. How much agility do level 40ish FBs/RBs/OTs have? I would guess this VA is a waste against any elusive back or LOT but effective against a FB?)

I would assume Pass Rusher would be the one to go for, but I figure I'll hear what some of you have to say before deciding.

im messing around with my lb i got 8 SB 4 Disguise B and 4 1st step then i got 15 in tech man so i will see this season how my guy does

depends on his strength and agility. Pass rusher probably won't be the best bet for a true pass rushing LB since strength is going to be relatively low.

I wouldn't go with tech man, because it requires 10% more agility, and most OL are carrying around 85+ agility at high levels now and some are adding the quick VA. So tech man is only going to work if you plan on carrying close to 100 agility.

I'd go with track star, jump the snap, streaky, and football genius.

Even so, pass rusher could still be beneficial. Kinda depends on your build really imo.

Do you think being in AAA was a part of your success?

Do you not see the levels of my guys? 58 right now. They were 52-55 in AAA last season vs players 12+ levels higher. Same with the season before when they were on the same team in AAA, they were outleveled by even more though. If you have the right combo of VA's, SA's, and attributes you can compete anywhere.

I suppose, I'd rather listen to a guy in Pro's or WL, without a schedule full of 255-0 wins. We'll see how you do this season if your league is competitive.

I fail to understand how fearsome can make you a better pass rusher.

there arent a ton of times i agree with UD, but i do have to agree with him here. you did get a lot of sacks, but you also had 11 blow out games accounting for 91 of 98 of your sacks for season 16 on josh hurst jr. just sayin'.

it isnt going to get you more sacks, but if you care about hurries at all, its -supposed- to help with those.

just look at the game log buddy. I have multiple sacks in almost every game. Check the playoff numbers. Or watch replays. Or check our scrims vs the top AAA teams from last season and some pro teams. Being under leveled by 10+ last season should be a good enough example that I know what I did when building my guys. Show me any other Backer with equal or better success

Fearsome doesnt help you get sacks. Its more of a "team player" type VA. And since I am being blitzed 99% of the downs, it helps put pressure on the QB.

it doesnt help with hurries. It just makes the QB feel hurried.

Your math is wrong...just saying. And even check scrims and playoffs. Its not about getting 10 sacks a game, that will never happen vs good teams. But 1-4 is possible and he did that vs the good teams
