These are in no particular order. These are the HB's who are going to factor the most in their team's performance.

1. Billy The Bruiser: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1198972
Team: Alcatraz Assassins

Bio: Billy is the youngest HB of the group at 392 days old, and level 65. He missed the age cut off by 8 days, and could have been level 68 at this point. Last season he was in AAA ball where he averaged 9.4 ypc, and 38 TD's. Not bad from a PB.

Pro's: Good Speed to Agility ratio means that he can hit the hole quickly. Strong enough to break tackles at this level. Still can make level 71 with boosts in the next 2 seasons, and can make 72 with the final boost offered, so he still has some growth left.

Con's: 10 games were decided by 65+ points, so his stats are going to be comparatively inflated. He is a PB, and traditionally they are not as effective at the Pro Level.

2. Sir Lollipop Man: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1173062&playoffs=0
Team: New Jersey Battalion

Bio: Arguably the best overall back from the returning teams in the USPL. The thing that made him so deadly dangerous last season was his scat back ability. 66 Catches, 1,520.5 Yards, and 19 Receiving TD's made him very effective out of the backfield. Although his Yards gained, and rushing TD numbers were less than stellar, his Conference leading 14.7 yards per carry demands attention.

Pro's: Lead the league in YPC. The the best "over all" HB last season in the USPL. Can run or receive making him impossible to tag. Proven track record in the League. With an age of 399, he will be able to boost to level 73 for the start of season 18.

Con's: It's hard to find any real holes in his game, but the big unknown factor this season will be the loss of his "Scat Back" VA. Undoubtedly this will result in a drop in receiving production, but how much will that be made up on the ground?

3. SammyG Attitude: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1164440
Team: Nebraska Tornados

Bio: At 399 days old, there is still a lot of life in this HB. Last season in AAA ball, he had 159 broken tackles, and a respectable 5.7 YPC, in a relatively tough league, where he got a low number of carries in the blow out games. He isn't a game breaker, but his presence means steady yards for his team.

Pro's: At 399 days old he can boost to level 70 this season, and level 73 next season. Strong performance in AAA. 5.7 YPC for a PB is nothing to sneeze at. Consistent yard gainer. Offensive Line will be able to boost to level 71 this season. Performed well in playoffs.

Con's: PB's typically do not do as well at the Pro level. Lacking depth on the OL, which may hurt his production. Broken tackles from last season do not put him at the "Elite" Level.

4. Brandon Jacobs: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1169100&playoffs=0

Bio: Brandon is one of the younger players at 399 days, he played last season in a AAA league, where he averaged 6.5 YPC and had 33 TD's, with 230 broken tackles! At level 68 he will be able to boost to level 71 this season, and to level 74 for next season. Looks to be one of the top 2 PB's in the league this season.

Pro's: 6.5 YPC from a PB is pretty darn good. Was in A "Pro League" last season, even if there were a lot of gutted teams.

Con's: PB in the Pro's.... Etc... Was in the OPL last season, which is not nearly as tough as the USPL. Young and incomplete Offensive Line will hamper his rushing ability. He had 5 stat padding games.

5. TerShaun McDaniel: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1058756
Team: A Team About Nothing

Bio: A season 6 player who is 439 days old. At level 65 he will get 1 more season of boosts to put him at level 68. He will NOT be eligible for the plateau boosts to level 72. Last season he averaged a healthy 10.6 YPC and 69 TD's in the OPL. It isn't much of a Pro League, but it IS a Pro League.

Pro's: Strong, and developing O-Line. 125 broken tackles is respectable for an "Elusive Back". Rush heavy team. High YPC which is much more indicative of ability than total yards.

Con's: OPL team, with lot's of blow out games. O-Line is younger than most USPL teams. Broken tackles, while respectable, is not at the "Elite" level. Only 2 HB's on roster, and as so might get tired.

6. Deadman Shake: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1062520
Team: SOUTH GEORGIA GROWL

Bio: Deadman Shake spent the last season in the OPL, racking up a very nice 2228 Yards and a 6.5 YPC, as a PB. He is 439 days old, and as such, can boost to level 73 before he hits his Plateau years.

Pro's: 247 broken tackles at the Pro Level. 6.5 YPC is really solid for a PB. Joined a Veteran USPL team that has a proven ability to win. On a team that rushes more than it passes.

Con's: Untested at the USPL level. PB's tend to do less well at the USPL level.

7. the outside of the plate for a strike: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1041254&playoffs=0
Team: Monmouth Evil Monkeys

Bio: TOOTPFAS or Toothpaste as I like to call her, drops down from the WL, where she averaged 6.4 YPC and managed 16 TD's. With a 5-11 WL team, that is impressive. I would have to expect her production to increase in the USPL.

Pro's: Can boost to level 74 this season, and then plateau's for 3 more seasons. A good offensive line, on a team that likes to rush the ball. Proven RB at the top levels of play. 173 Broken Tackles at the WL is pretty fricking amazing. May be the MVP for season 17, IMHO(if not by Bort's formula, then by my assessment).

Con's: PB's don't produce as much as Elusive's do, though dropping down may increase production. Other than that, I can't find any downside to this HB.

8. Tank _ Murdock: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=937048
Team: Chicago Hedgehogs

Bio: Tank spent last season with the EEPL team The Black Sea Storm, who were pretty impressive in that league. He is an "Elusive" back who averaged 8.9 YPC last season with a total of 24 TD's. I consider the EEPL to be a stronger league than the OPL, so their stats mean a bit more to me.

Pro's: Joined the Chicago Hedgehogs who have a very strong O-Line, and look to be a favorite this season. Did well in a league that was only slightly (IMHO) less competitive than the USPL. Looks to have a very high speed/agility, which can break a play. Good Playoff YPC.

Con's: Low number of broken tackles, only 38 last season. Could be a "Blink" dot, but I don't think that will make up for it. Unproven in the USPL. Not sure how he will perform in this league.

9. John Dogmeat: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1058245&playoffs=0
Team: Corpus Christi Illegal Aliens

Bio: Dogmeat is a better back than last season's numbers. He is an "Elusive" Back and only ran for a 5.5 YPC for 11 TDs. However he only had 142 carries, or around 11 carries per game. In just about every game that he had over 10 carries he produced a TD. He should get more carries this season. Boosting to level 71 should help his production a bit as well.

Pro's: Developing team, with some strong O-Line players coming up. Has much more potential if given more carries. Solid YPC in the USPL. Solid receiving ability.

Con's: Team does not rely on the run all that much. Low number of broken tackles (30), limits big play ability. Avatar is so sweet, it make me hate him.

10. Tyler Hugh Lewis: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=958266
Team: 8 Mile Assault.

Bio: Reigning USPL MVP. Averaged 10.3 YPC, and a league high 49 rushing TD's last season in the USPL. Probably the most decorated toon in the USPL, his rushing ability was the heart and soul of his team last season.

Pro's: His 205 broken tackles last season are unusually high for an "Elusive" back. He has shown a big play ability. Proven ability to do well at the USPL level of play. Team likes to rush more than pass. He is eligible for the "Plateau" which will extend his life by 3 seasons. Team is rush heavy.

Con's: Is in 3%/1.5% decline, so he is not at his best. Expect his performance to be down from last season. Team O-Line is similarly past 440 days, and as so not at their "Optimal" level of play.

There you go... My HB assessment of the 10 HB's who will most affect their teams. There are certainly good HB's who have been omitted, but I believe that their teams are ballanced enough that their performance will be a lesser part of their teams sucess.

As always... Take what I say with a grain of salt. I am just some dude who says some shit on the internet, and all of it is opinion, and none of it truth.

Even with all the hair... that is a she, not a he( I feel icky even looking at the avatar).

I am basing my assessment on last seasons performance. Which is why she gets a big nod for playing in the WL. As far as "Contained" goes... I think your right. She is going to get her yards on the inside rush. I am not sure that there is a defensive game plan that can stop that. It will come down to the DL's ability.

Interestingly enough, that is how I think about her..... I just didn't want to offend. Man that hair is creepy though. I throw up in my mouth a little bit every time I see it. I pray that she isn't one of the top backs, so I don't have to look at it anymore. Unfortunately, I think that is a long shot.

Can I cry now?
