Anyone use it? Think it helps? Have replays?

ive never heard of someone having success with it, and i figure it would be hard for most builds to get a good amount of use out of it as there arent too many builds that put a heavy focus on jumping.

I imagine that it would work best for a fast HB, as its effectiveness would depend on the number of diving tackles attempted.

this, but at the same time, having a good amount of jumping will help hurdle fire more, and i dont think there have been too many HBs that have worked on jumping all too much. if you want to try it, feel free to give us results as the dot ages.

Well until this SA has been introduced, there's been absolutely no reason for HB's to raise jumping cept for maybe the few scat backs. I'm still hesitant with this one cuz there's just too much uncertainty about it - does it help with all diving tackles or just the ones coming from behind the dot? And what kind of jumping requirements are we looking at here? Lil stuff like that.

should be all diving tackles.

as for how much jumping to make it effective? as you said, i dont think there have been many people who have tested it extensively, but i would imagine 68 capped jumping would be enough to make it fire quite a bit.

the only problem is that the only offensive positions i see having that much jumping, probably dont have the speed to get many defenders needing to make a diving tackles in the first place.

Doing it now with this dot.
HB's get no ALG's in jumping
taking it to 60 after SPD, AGI, and CAR are 77,77, and 73 respectively.

I'm going to take it up with the old method of building FB speed before archetypes.

Train jump to 40 (99%), SP's to softcap
Train to 53 (99%), SP's to 2nd cap
rollover from 61.5 to 62.5

(.5 is from initial build height)

Plan is to get Quick Cut and juke up to force defenders to attempt diving tackles and then to use hurdle and high jumping and STR at 50 to break the diving tackle. with hurdle at 7.

Back in the day there was actually decent reason to train jumping up into the 40s simply because you ran out of relevant attributes and it was paired with a lot of other choices. Now you're not really bound by that anymore, especially with so much pressure to train on light during the second half of a dot's career.
