Well thanks to the extended plateau the Masterminds have a full roster of quality dots and are ready to unleash hell upon the East. Those of us still around from their last trip through are really looking forward to the beating or maybe some payback. I can't see the Masterminds staying around long and should be back up in the World League next season.


PLAYING FOR SECOND_____________________________________________________________________________________

Okay so I picked ATKM to move on to the World League and the just can't seem to get on board with the plan; so maybe if I rank them Playing for Second, they can get on board. They're coming in with a fresh squad that should really cause some damage compared to last season and I look forward to their matchup with the Masterminds.


FIGHTING FOR A PLAYOFF BERTH__________________________________________________________________________

Tennessee Fury http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1202

The Fury just missed the playoffs this past season, but we can always blame the new baby on that happening. This season has another batch of top teams ready to compete for the playoffs, but I can see the Fury weighing on their experience to get them into post season play this time around.


Humboldt Killer Hornets http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=3421

The Hornets looked very good last season and went very far into the playoffs and they did this from the 6th seed. I see them fighting for another shot at playoff glory, but I don't think anyone will over look the Hornets this time around.

The Lightning started off hot last season and then came back down to earth as the upper teams welcomed to them to the Pros. They also had a rough time closing out the season, but they should be fired up for this season and ready to close out the season strong.

The Generals are missing quite a few players and the ones they do have are inactive. Doesn't look like they'll be doing much this season so they're ready for demotion.


D.C Baby Sloths http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=809

This is the Baby Sloths first trip up to the Pros, but their owner has been here before. I'm sure he remembers what it will take to stay up here and I see their matchup with Mentone Beach being the tie breaker for the Sloths staying or going.

The rankings below are based off of nothing but roster evaluation, past records (seasonal, playoffs, and scrimmages), team chemistry, and personal knowledge of the team. I didn’t use a greasemonkey script or spreadsheet or anything fancy; just my opinion. These rankings are up for debate amongst yourselves on the forums, but if you want to move up in the rankings; you’ll have to prove it on the dotball field!

MM looks WL quality for sure. Better team than they had last season

I'll take 28th for the Pyro's. We backed in and we're rebuilding/reloading. This was our goal when we formed the team 12 seasons ago (pre WL). I just want to still be here next season. Not that we aren't going to give it our best shot. I'm just being realistic. Anything higher than that and I'll be extatic!

JP!!! Thanks for this. I think the top 5 are pretty well locked: MM, ATKM, SOFPM, LBM. I'd like to think that MM is tier 1, but I always worry about what kind of tricks Bort has up his sleeve. I'm also curious to see is if anyone else can break into that tier 2.
