This is the Peewee Challenger Tourney!
Rules:
- One team starts with the trophy (trophy holder), other teams can play against that team in order to win (challengers).
- If the challengers win, they become the trophy holders.
- Challengers can post here, or PM me, with their challenge. If a challenge is deemed fair, I'll add it to this post.
- The peewee community gets a 24-hour period in which to vote on which challenge they want to see the trophy holder face, by either posting here or PMing me. If the votes end up as a tie, I'll get the winning vote.
- Trophy holders must accept and play against 1 challenger at least every 4 days or they lose the trophy. Only exception is when there are no challengers.
- Only "official" games are counted. Any game can be deemed an official challenge, as long as both teams agree to it. Challengers are the ones expected to send out friendly scrimmage requests.
- Challengers can make a rule that both teams have to follow during the game, as the trophy holder must be ready to face any challenge. It must be a rule from the following list (though if you suggest a fair rule, I'll add it):
Limiting one down or one/two quarter(s) to rushing/passing only
Can't use a single play more than 5 times (except phantom play call)
One position swap (HBs swapping with Cs, for example, but no more than one position)
Must kick a FG with less than xx yards to go (max yards of 20)
Must punt/kick a FG at 4th down
QBs/HBs/FBs can't run with the ball (except fumbles and phantom play call)
If a team is found to break the rule, they are deemed to lose the match.
- A challenger can't change their rule once the challenge has been made.
- In the event that a team loses the trophy (not from the result of a match), the previous team who held the trophy is assigned the trophy holder.
- Trophies should be rewarded to the Trophy holder team at day 41, and the team who beat the most challengers in a row.
- When a team becomes a trophy holder and loses, they cannot challenge the new trophy holders until next season.
- Tourney starts at day 1. You can organise games before the tourney starts, but first game must start from that day onwards.
- You can post challenges even before the results of the next match are made, after the match I'll give it at least until the next day for challenges to come in.
Ok, now that the boring bit is done, here's how Im thinking of starting it - vote on whoever you think should become the first trophy holder! You cannot vote for your own team!
There will definitely be a flex/reward point prize to whoever gets the two trophies, I'll have to organize that and how much
. Donations/Sponsors are also welcome!
