I have every suspicion that this guy sucks, because I've never made a scrambler before. But if someone can tell me WHY he sucks, I'll still have time to retire him and rebuild before the season starts!

(I was planning on 77 capping speed, then Agility 68, then Throwing 68, then quad training Strength-Vision-Confidence-Carrying)

Your guy doesn't suck, he's too young to suck yet.

Looks like you have a pretty good plan worked out, which puts you ahead of a lot of agents. The only thing I would say is that speed is not a major for scramblers. I would go agility then throwing then speed. Actually I would cap throwing first and never think about it again.

If you cap speed first your dot will dominate in the first couple of seasons. Most teams won't be able to stop your guy due to lack of builds or tactics, but the good teams with the right builds will shut you down every time. If you cap agility first your dot is pretty much worthless for a while but it is at least a major. If you go throwing first you can be a pretty decent passer while you build up agility and speed, plus you get the ALG's from throwing early.

Just my opinion.

Hard to say, everything is a trade off and a dual-threat needs a lot of attributes. If you take your primaries too high you won't be able to round the build out. If you don't take them high enough then you end up with a mediocre dot that's not really good at anything.

I can say that if you take throwing to 60 first thing, it will end up at about 85. With a second set of eq you could have it at 125 any time the gameplan calls for it. Whether that is too high or too low is up for debate. I would also say that speed to at least 74 is a must and 77 would probably be better.

Hope that helps.

It does a lot, thanks.

although in the short term, i think it'll mean a big BP hit since I need to shock-therapy my THR by training on intense for 20 days or so to circumvent the fact that i went speed-happy so quickly.
