We were here in season 7 and got whooped up on, going 5-11. Decided that our builds would never "get it done" and decided to reset, reload, and return.

We're back and looking forward to some great games next season.

Hey, I remember you guys

This could be a tough season for upstarts in all leagues. Since a lot of the old guard will actually be able to significantly improve their older dots via decline rollback, 72 EQ and additional boosts. I'm not saying there won't be some new teams in the post season but I think it's going to be a difficult season for anyone to roll through the Pro level straight to the WL. Looking forward to battling some new teams and we wish you guys all the best in your off season endeavors as well as next season's campaigns.

I seriously doubt we'll stroll through, but definitely expect to be competitive and will be happy with a playoff spot. Our sister team (Austin in USA Pro) was pretty much screwed by the new extended plateau cutoff. Half the roster was created between day 35 and 39 of season 4, which means they will not get the benefit of the new system. Not complaining because I know the line had to be drawn somewhere. We will be bringing in quite a few of the extended plateau players to beef up the Barossa roster... among those are some very well built dots. We will struggle with chemistry at first but should be back to 100% by midseason and definitely by playoff time.

I'm bringing a pile of my extended plateau dots on there. Should be fun

I will never forget how you guys were what stood between Samoa and Perfection in Season 5 (Yes, I'm messing around).

Nice to see both Barossa and VKS headed back to OPL.
There will be even more old school OPL teams moving up next season as well.

I love the Volcano and all, but the Kava Sharks are very original and very terrifying.
