Looks pretty impressive.
I'd wonder about taking carrying higher and/or steady grip.

If strength is the higher natural ability then wouldn't splitting equipment between speed and strength save SA without changing the post-eq attributes?

well, the reason i ask, is because this actually wont be a power back... this is actually what i got when i ran a power rushing QB through the builder. i edited the SAs to match pretty closely to what he would have (im looking at 8 stiff arm, and then 8 in two of the following: spin, LTS, PT, or surge.) if he were a PB so i could actually get decent advice as there really arent a ton of power rushing QBs out there, much less people who probably know how to make them.

but ok... maybe a cap out of strength and put that cap into carrying will do him good... or i could probably even figure out how to take some points out f vision and put that in carrying. i dont think PBs really need more than, what? 40 vision? and the reason i have all that EQ in speed is because i dont want people to be able tag and gameplan against him as easily. if he is all strength, then people can stuff the middle, but if he has good strength (i think 100 is prettty dang good. i haven't seen too many PBs with a lot more than that) and speed, then it makes it harder for the DC to pick which way the play is going to go.

Too much vision imo. Other than that it's looking good there worker.

less vis, more carrying.

i honestly think what a PB is going to look like will change substantially w/ 4 AEQ pieces, though. that much speed might restrict your ability to actually run through tackles.

well speed could very obviously be lowered since all 58 points are in that. what would you recommend i lower speed to? and im guessing said points would then go to strength (given i lower vision and put those points in carrying?

Less vision more confidence

move 25 of those speed points to carrying i'd think...100/120/100 could be really good. the way you have it looks more like a combo back to me.

also, you may want a bit more agility.

less stamina and vision and more confidence. Id shoot for 110 STR too. That will level you with most LDEs. Id go surge so you can keep agility semi low. Runs up the middle you get a boost anyways. Then another from surge.

Speed should never be lowered, and I think dpride is actually building a power QB so he would be a decent person to ask.

Is a power rushing QB a good idea? I remember reading that strength was halved for QBs befpre they crossed the line of scrimage. Something about too many broken tackles on sack attempts.

nah, strength is only halved behind the line of scrimmage when the QB is in pass mode. as soon as he tucks the balls (or from the start of a QB run play), strength is returned to normal.

my concern is that the build he suggested isn't gonna look anything like a powerback when you see what builds look like in 5 seasons.

imo, they totally f'd up ALGs and speed is gonna be ridiculously high across the board...but no one's gonna be able to tackle...might as well take advantage of it

well, i would consider taking some points out of speed. maybe get strength to 110-115, which would put speed at 130-125. but do you really think that 100 strength with 8 PT, and 8 spin or LTS and max weight (260 lbs) wont be enough to break tackles consistently?
