Week Three Game Predictions
by Mikiesdaman
Las Vegas Aces
vs. Dallas Hitmen
Salizy and the Hitmen suffered a heartbreaking loss in week 1, but came back strong in week 2 with a victory. Now they roll into the land of casinos to take on an often-struggling Aces team. Unless Las Vegas has some great hole cards, this one should be a moneymaker for Dallas.
Dallas cashes in their chips for a win, 42-7.
Long Beach Dub All-Stars
vs. Long Beach All-Stars
The first ever relocation game in the storied history of the BBB#12. The loser has to leave town and change their title. I'll be blunt. Lauren3466, have fun thinking up a new name.
Dubbers drink from the chalice, 35-0.
Los Angeles Express
vs. Chicago Inferno
Together, these team's gunslingers have put almost a 1000 yards up so far this season. Both have played some stiff competition to start their seasons. It doesn't get much easier for either team this week, but I'm looking for LA to cool down Chicago's Inferno.
Express extinguishes the flames, 27-20.
Minnesota Mountain Lions
vs. Possum Trot Plague
Not much to say here, but I think Possum Trot is looking to finish a little higher than last year. The Lions are sitting at 2-0 and starting to like the feel of winning. But someone has to lose.
Plague infects, 28-14.
Game of the Week
Timpanogos Thunder
vs. Tana River Ewoks
After two meetings last year, these teams are 1-1 in their short history. They both want this game, and both know it could be huge in the long term playoff run. Nothing better than playing for playoff seeds in week 3.
Thunder by a hair, 21-17.
Sleeper of the Week
Houston Toxins
vs. Montana Crow
The Crow have lost 20 in a row. There is really not much else to say.
Toxins win 56-0.
Seattle Buffalos
vs. Honolulu Beach Boys
Seattle is a lot better than the 0-2 start they are off too. Unfortunately, they are better than the 0-3 start they are going to have after week 3. The Beach Boys are the real deal. I think most of us will be surprised if they aren't playing in the A#6 next year.
Honolulu alohas 35-10.
UPSET ALERT
Eugene SLUGs
vs. Mighty Chihuahuas
On paper and in reality, the Mighty Chihuahuas would be the winner when it is all said and done. But they know how to pull an upset in Eugene, and I think they are about due.
Slugs slime it up, 16-10.
And, by the way, you slugs are welcome for me shining the spotlight on your team. I know how you guys love to be singled out and paid attention too!!
