Not too late to adjust him a bit maybe. This is my first HB.
I have 18 SP and 147 Bonus points in reserve. I have an option to add an extra ability with my AEQ and was thinking of going with Quick Cut. Anything out there better than that (that he doesn't have)? Also what changes could I make to help put him over the top?
Any info would be appreciated.

Head Fake/Juke combo is considered deadly for elusive HB's (in a good way). If you're going to go with adding a new ability, I'd suggest that. Another route you could take would be to go with Improve Fake %, but I'd suggest going with either HF/Juke considering you're low in that range and don't exactly have much to fake with.

Anyone else have thoughts?


P.S. You might want to train up Stamina and Confidence relatively soon unless your platooning.

Yeah he is platooning with a power back and we pretty much split carries.
As for head fake and juke, he already has those among his elusive SA tree. Or do you mean adding points to them? I was thinking of an additional ability attached to AEQ. I know I haven't added any points to SAs yet but I figured those are better to add to at higher levels. Have things changed in that area?

I've been slowly training stamina and confidence once in a while because eventually he may be required to get more carries.

I would add Spin as the SA to AEQ. Once you get you carrying a little higher, spin will be very effective. I would also suggest BT gear to go with Spin.

So there is a different version of Spin, Juke, etc available through AEQ that isn't the same as the one on the Elusive abilities tree?

And is Quick Cut not really a big deal then?

I'm going to get some Break Tackle 5% whenever I can...I don't think it will let me get it at the same time as Quick Cut or Spin, etc. I'd definitely do it if I could.


^^^^After checking it out in AEQ store, I think I had the wrong idea before. Juke, Spin as attached SAs to AEQ would add +1 to the existing SA, not provide a separate ability.

I would still like to know what anyone thinks about Quick Cut. I am definitely going to build up Spin and Juke and get some Break Tackle %

QC is good, but it is the first SA in the tree, so not worth adding as AEQ.

You're right. I just got a +2 vision, +1 Spin piece. Upgraded it with speed until I ran out of tokens so now he has 4 Spin. I'll add Break Tackle when he gets more points.

Apart from that, how is he looking?

Pretty good. I would get agility to 73 cap, then carrying to 68 cap.
