you should choose a stat and stick with it until you reach atleast 73

I was going to do this with catching. I just wanted to soft cap speed first because I have another Possession WR that is all catch pretty much and only 20 speed. He's good, it's just I've seen him make many catches that could've gone for TDs if he was just a little faster. But my top 2 attributes will be catching/agility for this build as well.

That's fine; you're just sacrificing better abilities later in your career for performance earlier.

Hmmm, well what is done is done. So should I retire this guy and start again?

No, I was just pointing out what you're doing.

Really, the difference in ALGs being only .07 to start for WR, makes speed first not so bad an option. The bad part comes with stopping before you're done with speed. Do you ever plan on pushing speed any more? if so, I'd go ahead and finish it while training your next attr or two.

Well not really too much more.

I was wanting my build to look something like 100+ catching/77 agility/77 jumping/60 vision/60 speed

OK, well then your plan is fine. I'd just have done the top 3 first; but that's how I roll. You just traded better early performance for slightly lower top end catching, agility and jumping. No big deal, and it's a fair trade off.
