his eq is like this: one reg piece in str, one reg piece in agi, one aeq +10 agi w/ shed blcok, one aeq +10 spd w/ first step plus his custom's in agi and the pass rush tree.

any ideas? would he be better w bb%? if so which piece should he dump? or try to work 3 pieces?

Str is way way to low. +10 spd doesnt do much when you're pancaked. Even an all out pass rusher should have 100+ str.

In terms of strength, you want enough to not be pancaked. Whatever achieves that result is as much as you need. I have a DT in APL with 100 strength who gets pancaked no more than 5 times per season.

For your 5 SP I'd work on getting shed block to 8 base. Also you might want to train jumping. It boosts your tackling range, which includes sacks. Wall and Break Through are good options too.

As for your dot, I might consider selling the AEQ with shed block. It's a good SA but you can raise Shed Block with SP, while AEQ is the only way to get a % bonus to break block. Also I would swap clutch for heavyweight. +agility DL should all have heavyweight IMO. They're the best break block builds and heavyweight kicks in every time that happens.

True. I built him to blow up OL and stuff the run. He does both very well, but doesn't do much vs the pass. Also his team rarely uses 4 DL fronts on passing downs, so he doesn't get many sack chances.

Hi there!

So is strength the most important for pass rushers?
Shall I improve it first and then the others?
Btw what are the other abilities to improve?

Thanks.

Agility is most important for pass rushers imo. Strength and agility both play a part in the break block roll and you're going to want at least 60 vision to get off the line decently quick. Some break block % pieces wouldn't hurt either.
