He was a relatively poorly built dot, that 2 seasons ago i had to decide whether to retire or not!.
I decided to experiment, and just turn him into a special teams gunner.
1. Dropped all his spd/agi equipment for just speed.
2. Stopped putting sp's into vision, and just STR
3. 15 VA's to Special Teamer, 10 in Power Tackler
4. Got equipment for ff%
5. Got equipment for HeadHunter (godly on special teams coverage since very many tackles are at full speed).
6. Got equipment for Big Hit
Results 98 tackles and 27 ff through 10 games, playing jsut in punt and kick coverage.
Im sure people are going to post that their guys have been more productive, or they know someone who has, but this was a relatively easy change to make for a mid-life dot., who had little chance of ever making it to the bigs.
So what was once a dot, that I would just check the score line, to see if he had any pd's., or rarely an interception, has become one that I watch every play that he is on the field...
