Whats the best way to build Blitzing LB's? Im trying to make a replica of DWARE on the ROLB spot and have concentrated on Strength and Speed with Tackling as my 3rd priority and added 'Disguise Blitz'....any suggestions and critiques?

well agility needs to be in your top 3 priorities for a start if not top priority. I like disguise bltz though.

Yeah, agility is very important for a blitzer for sure.

Disguise blitz is still pretty new so I'm not sure about it. What little I have heard has been good though.

What about Head of Steam SA?

And yeas Speed>Agility>Vsion or strength would be my path for ROLB.

I'd up the agility after speed myself. Go either vision or strength as your 3rd attribute...I like vision myself, but I thinks its a minor w/ the Blitzer archtype so maybe strength would be smart. It's amazing how long you can go without having high tackling. I would actually leave that as attribute # 5 myself.

I wouldn't do tackling as a 3rd.

Speed>Strength>Agilty/Vision>Tackling

Disguise Blitz sounds promising for a Speed/Agility ROLB, but since your going for strength I would try Head of Steam.

Mash the speed button

Successful Blitzing LB is:

90% Scheme
10% player build


Find a good DC.

how much speed and other attributes would be enough to blitz with success?

would ~ 120 speed, 80 agility, 80 strength be enough? or maybe 130 speed?

Any time you want to use high strength as a defensive player, you should always pair it with high agility, and try to fight through/off blocks rather than going around them.

Your player should start with 25 Speed and 15/16 Agility.

Save your SP's and Cap:
Speed 1st, I would say to about the 4th Cap (73) + AEQ and CEQ
Agility 2nd to the 4th Cap (73)
Vision 3rd to the 3rd Cap (69)
Strength 4th to the 3rd Cap (69)
Tackling 5th to the 3rd Cap (69)

How you train those would be up to you, but that would probably be where you want your player to end up.

Also, Get First Step instead of Disguise Blitz as a Bonus SA.
