what is it and how does it work?

its a program where you can talk to eachother through the server. You download the link and put in the information and you connect and your able to speak with other people on.

like voice conversations or chat?

and if it's voice then is it through a phone?

its voice conversations you use it through a microfone connected to your computer or if you already have one built into it
