Okay I said I'd move us to the top if we were able to beat the Mice and somehow we did. So here you go, the Mentone Beach Assault sits at the top for the first time since they've been to the Pros. We're old, we're declining fast, and we're only going to get worse! Until then, come get some!!!!!!


2 . 4 – 1 . All The King's Men - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1239 - 1
These guys are the best in my opinion, but haven't had a real game this season. The script says they suck, but sorry I know better! Okay that loss hurt, apparently I need forum access so I can explain to this team that they are the best team in the East because they just don't seem to get it. I'm not sure if King talks them down or they're just not trying, but they are better than they're letting on.


3 . 4 – 1 . South Otto Fragile Porcelain Mice - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1288 - 1
The Mice are back, they're for real. I've got them competing for a home playoff game and pushing for a trip back to the World League. Would have liked to see a better game from these guys, but still another solid win. I guess you don't have to worry about special teams; well until you play the Mist. Not overly surprised at their first loss, but I know we had to work at it to get it.


4 . 5 – 0 . San Diego Lightning - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=670 - 1
The Lightning are for real!!!! They shocked Austin in Week 1 and then really showed up against LBK. They're here to play for a home game in the playoffs, just got to close out the season as strong as they started. Wait a minute, they beat the #1 team and they're still down at #3? I'm not sure what will happen when they play the Mice and I don't think they would have won that game if ATKM had perfect chemistry. Great start to the season for sure!


5 . 3 – 2 . Seattle Renegades - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1153 - 1
They didn't look amazing in Week 1, but really got worked over in the last 20 seconds of Week 2. I thought the Renegades would be playing for a home playoff game, but I'm still back and forth on that one. They lost to a good group of old players, but they played strong. They're in the playoff hunt, but they'll have to fight for a home game now.


6 . 4 – 1 . Louisville Baby Kittens - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1494 - 1
Looked great Week 1, but then fell to a new comer to the Pros. Hard to say which LBK team we have here. Well now I'm really concerned as they barely put away Paris. HOLY BABY KITTENS! I had to look, then look again, and then refresh the page when I saw the amount of points they put on the Mist. Then I got pissed that they exposed that play before I could have! LBK just showed why they are a dangerous team, they can game plan with the best!


7 . 3 – 2 . Grand Haven Mist - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1222 - 1
The Mist are a solid team, but they have had two very close games so far this season and they did it with horrible team chemistry. It's only time before that's repaired and they can really start beating up on teams! Well they had a team catch them off guard with some AI issues and they lost another one, but again the Mist are very solid and will be playing for a home playoff game; just these two losses will hurt when the time comes.


8 . 5 – 0 . Defenders of the Ancients - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1530
Well DotA has really been surprising me so I'm looking forward to see if they can keep it up, I still think they have to play some of the top teams to prove they're worth their record, but they are winning the games they need to win. Yet again they face a good opponent and get the win, but these close wins aren't helping them look like a 5-0 team yet.


9 . 3 – 2 . Atlantic City Affliction - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=5950
A solid team and could really cause some damage this season, but they have some hungry teams below them. Well ACA has had some problems so far and their latest loss hurts bad. That could be the team they're fighting with to make the playoffs. They've got a brutal stretch of games coming up now!


10 . 2 – 3 . Tennessee Fury - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1202
Another tough opponent and looking at the #10 spot could mean they're missing out on the playoffs this season. There's really some tough competition for the remaining playoffs spots so the Fury really needs to put these losses behind them and regroup. Didn't happen in this last game and I think that close loss will come back to haunt them when the playoff teams are decided.


11 . 2 – 3 . Paris French Connection - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=57
I liked their first game, but really thought they would have more for the Mice. Looks like they're in danger of missing out of the playoffs. Another close lose shows they have talent, but just can't seem to buy a win. They're going to have to fight for the playoffs, but I just don't see it happening this season.


12 . 2 – 3 . Humboldt Killer Hornets - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=3421
Haven't played a real team yet and wasn't too impressed with them last season in AAA. They did look a lot better this last week; I'm tempted to move them higher. Wow very nice against one of the best teams, they came up short; however, a solid performance by their kick returner! Not sure if they'll see anything higher than 12th this season, but there is a chance they could finish higher.


13 . 1 – 4 . New Jersey Generals - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=96
Still recruiting, but can't seem to put things together this season. Well they get their first win, but outside of the bottom CPU teams... that's it. They'll stick around for another season of Pro life, but their season is pretty much over unless someone folds.


14 . 0 – 5 . Roswell Invaders - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1306
Almost a full roster, but not enough to compete at this level. Owner is still in the Middle East, but should be available to right the ship very soon. I see two wins from the CPU teams and I'm thinking that's it for the Invaders, but the good news for them is; they'll be back next season unless they fold.

Six human players and that scared Paris and Roswell to pull a free nacho day on them!!!!! Come on guys, two of the builds are open.

Only a couple of human players, but enough to warrant a free nacho day from Paris and Roswell!!!!!

Seattle lost to the big name teams in the conference, but they're still one of the best. At the same time ACA is having the same problem. You would think this would be a good matchup between these two teams trying to find themselves and I am hoping for a close one, but I have a feeling we could be in for a blow out.

Looks like the Generals have to follow the Assault's schedule and get all the pissed off teams we kick the crap out off. Seattle opened up on them last week and now they have to face off with the Mice. I think the Generals are in for another long day against the Mice.

After the Fury's last loss it's just tough to see them doing much this season; very puzzling considering how good I know they are. They'd probably do better if I was a lolGM!

This will be a great game and I'm guessing it could really turn the Mist's way if their special teams can take over the game. I know they've been combing through their AI and picking up the pieces that were torn apart by LBK, so ATKM will have their work cut out for them. With the King's Men getting their chemistry back, they should begin to be the force we've all come to know them by. The big factor for this game... KR Patrick "Psycho" Bateman 1 Career Fumble.

It's been an odd season for both of these teams as the Assault loaded up on the Farve VA and are playing better with age. Like a fine wine, they are at their best and peaking at the right time. The Kittens have had a lot of close games as they rebuild their chemistry; then like a Baby Kitten leaving it's mother for the first time... they destroyed the Mist. Okay yeah that just doesn't make since, but they don't exactly have a fierce name to make that work. They do have one hell of a coordinator crew that finds weaknesses in their opponents. Now I'm left to wonder if recruiting Mentone Beach's QB ex–P.F.C. Wintergreen to come to MBA was really a ploy to take advantage of later.

Always have to be wary of the ST's of Mist. Their coverage teams are the Gold Standard and hold the key to all their tests. I hate 'em!!!

I think we've shown what we're made of. Hey...you were closer to the final score than the script.

I will say this, I thought the Lightning were going to be in way over their heads this season (said so in my schedule breakdown on the team forum) and they've proven me wrong despite the score of today's game.

No...I'm referring to a win last postseason against the Mist...I'm referring to building our way up to a playoff team at the Pro level....I'm referring to beating a previously undefeated team that was starting to emerge as a contender.

Ahh the light shines now, had I hung in Pro's to be a consistent mediocre team that only made the playoffs 1 out of those 5 seasons I would have the right to talk smack like I know what I am doing.

Wait. That's not too far from what happened, right? Except it was only 3 seasons (8-10) and you only made the playoffs 1 of those seasons - season 9 (although you did have a 1st round win that season!) But I think the point is you came in, we're so-so, then improved the next season and made the playoffs, showing some promise, then declined a lot, winning only 4 games, and then demoted. That's kind of a "flash-in-the-pan" - typical story - a lot of teams come up, show some promise, can't handle it and demote.

Tennessee on the other hand - you've got to hand it to 'em despite their argumentative owner - has gotten better every season in the Pros, starting at 4 wins, then 6, then 8, then 10 last season including their playoff win. That's not such a usual story and shows a lot more determination and perseverance than the typical "flash-in-the-pan" team. They've also got a gold trophy, which IMHO gives them the right to talk smack to teams that never even got to a League Championship game.

As far as I'm concerned if you demote from the Pros, then you can talk smack to someone who has never been here, but you're not on the same status as teams that managed to stick around, playing at the highest level without needing to demote. You come back and you're a rookie Pro owner all over again, because after all it's six seasons later and you're certainly not going to impress anyone with your 4 wins in season 10, or even worse, have to go back seven seasons to season 9 which is the last time your team was any good in the Pros. You're telling me your team was a Pro playoff team, went down to the minors for 5 seasons, and in that time never even made it to a League Championship game? Yet you think you should have the same status as a team that's been playing at the Pro level for the last 5 seasons? And you want to criticize the Pro team for not making the playoffs more often in the Pros? While your team couldn't sweep a bunch of minor league teams? Really??? That's your argument!??
