My LB is a level 58. his effective level is 63. common sense tells me it just means he could hang with higher leveled players, but is there any more to the effective levels aspect of the game, or is it pretty much irrelevant?

pretty sure its just for fun. nice way to see how well youve used auto gains i guess
I think it has a certain weight in league placement. I could be wrong though.
