From 1-100 the attributes have a fixed value (in terms of how much they raise effectiveness in the sim)
Above 100, the attributes decrease in value for each point
Some believe that you need an attribute above 100 for it to be really effective

When I created my 1st guy in season 1,my plan was to make him a very balanced WR. To be good but not great at everything.
To be consistent...

Everything was going great and then they added to age factor...400 stop going up...440 start decling mode.

I noticed my player declining in everything and it truly affecting his ability...

Then when I created my new WR a couple seasons ago,I was going to concentrate on speed and only speed and see how fast I could make him. This was 1 season before the archetype mode....and 2 seasons before the new training mode we have now.

I was also able to slow build him for 1 full season as well...

Obviously,I made him the Speedster archetype

Then it hit me!!
What if I could hit CAP 30 in Speed way before anybody ever does?
Not only dumping all my skill pt's into speed, but trading in the BT's,while training on light and aquiring SP's as fast as possible? Obviously training my other attributes.

If i were to hit CAP 30...(107+ in speed) say....at around level 40,imagine the automatic level gains I would get from then,to the point my player hit 400 in age?

Now,I would have to sacrifice all the BT's I could normally get in AEQ early for only basic EQ,but I could always get them later on..right? Plus,I believe a natural build is always better than any equipment a player has..right?

Then they offered the free basic eq upgrades,so that was a no brainer. I could use all my BT's for skill pt's till I reach my cap 30 destiny, while adding basic EQ for...free!

The question is....How high could my speed reach before decline?

Say...what if my speed was ridiculously fast, that even in decline at age 440 days old, that my speed could take 1,2,3 or more seasons of decline and still be as affective as a 200 day old player with high speed?

If i reach cap 30 in speed at lvl 40 and then stop putting sp's into speed from there, how much faster can I get speed up from just ALG's?

107+ in speed at lvl 40 and then 30 more levels of ALG's in speed?
That's alot...

Advice?

With the new archetype system we have...
Whatever your archetype is...Train and cap the hell out of it.
If your a speedster...cap it to 30 ASAP
If your a strength WR,cap strength to cap 30 ASAP

Dump everything you can into that skill, including your BT's for SP's....train your other attributes while doing this...then when you hit CAP 30,start putting all your SP's into your SA's...

Like catch in stride,1st step or whatever...

There are no diminishing returns on attributes past 100...

Everything I've ever believed is a lie?

...
EVERYTHING I'VE EVER BELIEVED IS A LIE!
OH NOOOOOOO

Wait, how do you know? I feel like I've seen it said that there are diminishing returns on attributes past 100, but that they are much slighter than those for SAs.

Bort said there are diminishing returns on SAs after 11. Someone once started rumors that 100 is the max of any skill, so points over 100 were worthless, but that was quickly debunked.

What you might have read is some kind of mathematical explanation of how 101 is just a 1% increase from 100, where as 51 is a 2% increase from 50. So it can be hard to notice the benefits of adding 1 point to an already high skill, but that doesn't mean that diminishing returns have been programmed into the game.
