places middle of the standings WL teams way too low because it's based so much on record and not enough for lev of play,

I think you under-estimate how good some of the top Pro teams are. Kai and Siagon would have competed for a #2 seed in the WL last season, period. and it takes who you play into account too, if you play a Top team it adds that in.

Yeah there are exceptions, Kai and Whores should have been in WL last season

It weighs far too heavy towards wins, so a pro team can dominate their reg schedule not play the top teams in WL, pick and choose their scrims and recieve pt's for them well WL teams more or less play the best teams in GLB on a regular basis.

i guess, but the point of any rankings system is to get the top correct. the BCS doesn't care if the #25 team is right, they care the top 10 is right. Anyways if you got any improvements then go ahead and write one up yourself

k if the point is to get the top ten teams right or close to and have the rest wrong it's working as intended I guess.

and with any ranking system ( even if garbage) it gives people something to talk about or for me to complain about and you to defend like like a fat kid with cake.

the thing is, i'm a programmer, so i'm looking at it from the scripting side here, and until you can come up with a better formula then that's that.
