My punter had 4 punts of 44, 40, 54.5, and 41. Yet stat sheet shows 4 punts for 39.8 WTF. Hell my net was 33.5 w/ returns and a TB. Plus can't we get an inside the 20 stat for punters? No kicker love

(44+40+34.5+41)/4=39.875

Are punters in NFL subtracted the 20 from touchbacks? A Touchback stat would be cool.

Either it is gross or net not some combo of both where TB are subtracted and not returns....

I had a 42,39.5 and 33 yd punt and it told me my average was 33.3. The first 2 were touchbacks but there is no way the 3 come out to that average under any condition.

Which game? None of the games I see for your punter ended with a 33.3 avg.

GLB does not calculate punt avg the way the NFL does. the bolded part is how GLB calculates it. It's not gross or net. And it's been like this since season 1. My guess is bort didn't want to try to figure out how to calculate net aside from TBs when he originally code it prior to season 1 and since then - since no one cares about punters - he's not bothered to fix it.

No, it didn't:

First Punt: 44 yds - Touchback (-20)
Second Punt: 44 yds - OOB
Third punt: 33 yard - returned

24 + 44 + 33 = 101
101/3 = 33.7

oops. misread the second punt. For some reason I thought it was from the opp 39.5 instead of mine and took it as a 2nd touchback.
