I have an issue with team owners sending invites for Tourny games and scheduling them so they can have a Level advantage over their opponent. i think this is an exploit that should not be allowed to gain an unfair advantage over another team. Yes I know it is my responsibility to check these things before pressing accept, however the interface given by GLB to track dates etc.. sucks tbh. Occasionally these things happen.

So, in the interest of keeping things as fair as possible dealing with things the community can control, I make a motion that any games with these type of situations where 1 team out levels another should be played over if the higher level team wins.

Anyone in favor?

Maybe in a non-boost tourney...the whole point of those are to be fair.

Otherwise, -1, pay more attention. Plus it's a lot better to have the 1 level disadvantage than have a scrub team boost on you for a meaningless tourney game.

I don't know why some team owners press accept on anything that comes their way and then complain later that it's unfair. I know the date system is kind of annoying, but it's really not that hard to keep track of things. Same goes for owners who accept "private" scrims for tourney games when they're not allowed, it's your own fault if you get DQ'ed.

And I think it's a little hypocritical to ask for a do over in this situation, but you didn't allow one for Stone Mountain for something that was totally out of their control.

Just play them and win, thats what I do. Played several teams that were an entire level higher across the board. We usually come out on top anyways. Just think if your good the game will be much closer and worth watching

Ye I can see how you would think that, but when I saw the game was played I thought everything was fine. Also their avg player value was looking like they had received their SP and TP's. I checked other teams in their league and they didnt have this problem. But I don't know what happened and I have PM'd back and forth with the owner several times to try and make this right for him. In the mean time I already sent an invite for the next round. I have asked Jkid to place them on an alternate list or if the game can be played over then lets do that.

1 lvl advantage at Lvl 2 is giving up a big handicap, but no problem, we will give them all they can handle. This post isn't merely for my benefit either. If the community got behind this maybe Bort would fix this dumb sheet so that all PeeWees play on the same day.. %@*! this game!

Can't play on the same day because of server space from what I have been told.

Yeah, thats why i ususally try and send all challenges, but I screw that up like everytime.

We had to play a ftw game underleveled, but i sent the challenge so..

I just think they need to add to the scrimmage offer sent page to include the date, and /or include day number on team's profile page next to the schedule.

This, but they are getting new servers so they may actually be able to support this, but then again that would mean there wouldn't be any league pee wee games on off days so I don't know if Bort and Co would want to do that.

Well shit! If we get kicked out of the Cup we are sending scrims to every team still in it on Cup Game Days, just to pay the piper!!!

Here is another team who sent the offer. Pretty sneaky doing it before our Gold league game. They will be fully leveled at 3 while we are stuck at 2. It's my fault for accepting, I knew it was for the FTW and didn't bother checking and comparing dates and levels. That's ok though because it just means I'll destroy them tomorrow for pulling that shit.

Oh and if that wasnt advantage enough they boost half their freaking team already

Hey man FYI it is not a Ranked Game...ALL Tourney games have to be ranked with overtime rules???!!!
