Since the leagues are basically watered down on one side the whole best silver conference really doesn't come into play as only one conference is usually strong.

With that being said i think Silver 2 West is the toughest by far. Dirty, Crib, NOWD, Montepellier all great teams in one conference, that's just sickening.

After that i think its Silver 1 East. STD being the front runners in the conference with the entire playoffs from S3 from season 15 in it.

Silver 8 West with Shy Town and Tombstone

Those are my top 3, what are your opinions?

Silver 8 west is tough, but TO is not fielding a team, but the Cleveland Horde are in there as well.
I would put Silver 1 east ahead of Silver 2 west just because of the depth.

I'd probably give the nod to S2W as well. You have two teams in S1E who would be the odds-on favorites in any conference without the other (SOA and STD). In S2W you have three teams that meet that criteria (Dirty, Crib, and NOWD). S1E seems deeper, though, but maybe that's because the Balrogs faced off against those teams in S15 so I know them better by name...

LI PW's in S1 East as well...however Montepellier is just as good as the top teams in S2 West. I agree S2 West is top heavy for sure and that's why i feel it is the best, and i do agree S1 East seems to be the deepest league out there. I also did not know that Tombstone was not fielding a team this season

Also forgot East Texas...but the Horde are a great team as well @ bmac

no where did i state that any silver league is better then Gold. I am not saying that i was just asking for a discussion on which you think is the best Silver conference since there doesn't seem to be many competitive ones out there

S3 west is basically all the playoff teams from S6 last year so it should be pretty competitive. not exactly the same top level teams as S2 west or S1 east, though there should be quite a bit of parity if i had to guess

I'd vote 2W, but wouldn't be surprised if one of the 4-6 teams from S1 East wins a spot in gold this season. Lots of smart guys on those teams and the GoatWarriors should never be underestimated.

I think it's way to early to start this.

I honestly think some previously good teams are going to fall hard this year, and some no-name teams will come out of nowhere.

It is with some teams coming out of nowhere, that always happens, but that's typically a new team you've never heard of. I'm talking about a team that has typically been a fringe playoff team suddenly being very good w/o making many changes.

And generally you know if a typical really good team is going to not be very good. They either tell you, or suddenly they're just not recruiting. I'm talking more about a traditional powerhouse that had a 55-man roster on day 42 and that has all of their stud coaching staff still in place suddenly struggling to make the playoffs.
