Just curious to see if tomorrow and the changes will be any different.

I'm not too worried about the interface/layout of how it will work. I'm more concerned about what it will mean for the actual game.

I typically buy some flex each offseason. I did not do that this year, and just made less players. I think tomorrow (and in all actuality, likely how the changes from tomorrow playout through the season) will determine my future flex spending.

I have a feeling I've spent my last flex, TBH.

Don't let Bort see this thread or else he may switch copper out with gold... (Who knows what else he will do to mess Pee Wee up)

The shuffle means competition is just messed up, but the training options would mean that there is no more one way of getting a quality build any more.

Maybe it'll grow on owners, but I doubt it. Hit it before you quit it, I say.

I still don't believe they care about Pee wee and the importance of your silver conference. They just messed it all up, there is no logic behind it all.

Is that true? Or do we just not know the best way, yet?

I agree that there are many more options for training. But I can't help but think that like everything else on GLB, once we figure out what's best (or, more likely, what's perceived by the community as best), that everyone will begin training that way and producing the same players.

I don't think the majority of players look the same now is b/c training was generic. I think it's because that's what was perceived as the best way to make the player, so everyone did it.

I think people are just going to figure out how to achieve the same build as before but in the new training system. Caps are still going to be used, there are still only a few attributes worth focusing on per player since peewees can only do so much in one season. A lot will depend on whether it's more valuable to train on light and get extra tokens and use that for unlocking/SPs or just screw BTs and train on the higher levels to get the most training benefit.

I'm sure there will be a new "best method" by next season, if not earlier. Heck, if I get bored enough at some point before this season starts I might actually do some number crunching myself and figure out what strategy ends up with better results. It won't take long though before everyone settles back into a routine.

Its true. At least different positions will require different build plans next season, instead of always training on intense with the restricting combos. It wasnt just a case of perception, those plans were the best option available.

Going with the OP it means BS to me. lol
I'm not gonna completely overreact about it, it's just a game and I love it so why make a fuss?
I look at it like a few extra buttons that just happen to confuse the living shit out of me.

I'll still buy flex (maybe not so much) but just enough to get my entertainment.
The only thing that I am truly pissed about is the shuffle, that is crap and whoever did it made a huge mistake. Why make competition "better" (yeah right) when it was already great in the first place.

That's actually pretty much what I said (or at least meant). I'm just worried about the game becoming less and less fun.

Yeah, In fact I would like to make more players and get more out of my flex, thats why I loved the no CE/Boost movement (but was too big of a pussy to support the league)

Yea go check out the roster totals I posted in the league forum. There is 2 competitive teams in the east only, and one of those teams is a DTD team so I am running the team.

Some key sim changes

1) Revert the morale balance between offense and defense that we did last season.
2) Slightly reduce the chance of revcakes
3) Reduce the spin bonus tied into the running slider slightly
4) Reduce the effect that Pump Fake has on defenders.
5) Catch Fake now only works when making cuts and will not work on streak type routes. It's strength was increased slightly.
6) Make 2nd wind work at the beginning of the 2nd quarter as well.
7) Do the 2nd half of the Morale change.
