I realize we're only through week 2, but considering last season - which teams look to be dropping to AAA this year?

Not really sure I get this joke when Helsinki's already 2-0 this year. Obviously, they're not getting relegated.
Anyway, I've given this a little thought already, and on the Alpha side, it looks like Hungary and Gliwice are the frontrunners. Of the 5 teams that are non-competitive with the contenders and definitely won't be picking up playoff spots, Team Phoenix and New York have already picked up wins which puts them solidly ahead in terms of being likely to survive. The Bisons Sentinels are strong contenders to get relegated as well though, they could easily drop.
On the Zeta side, I've payed less attention, but both Atlantis and the Sooner Syndicate were gutted badly enough that it will be hard for them to recover and post wins. Also, the likely next weakest team (the Transylvania Drachen) has already picked up a win this season over the Sooner Syndicate.

Bisons, Gliwice, Atlantis, Silesia...or so it seems so far. Could very easily be wrong this early on though.

From the way you guys talk, Debrovnik, Helsinki, and the others who were promoted are most likely to be relegated. After all, they haven't earned any respect or proven they belong in the Pros right?

I guarantee you that no one said Dubrovnik, Helsinki et al were likely to be relegated. I think the "controversial comments" that got them all riled up were people suggesting that they'd finish somewhere around 10-6. Now, that was wrong, as the teams that have moved up from AAA are all looking like they're in the very top echelon of the league and should probably end up with 12-15 wins instead, but it's far from the kind of disrespect people are pretending was there after the fact.

Well OK, I mean no one said it with even the tiniest degree of sincerity. Also, I think it's pretty clear tjking wasn't referencing this thread when he said that people thought the new teams were likely to be relegated.

Spot on. Although, to be fair, many of the posts in the offseason indicated that people thought the incomers would be average pro teams, nothing special. That is obviously not the case, and would have been at the time to anybody with half a brain. Pro leagues in this game have a superiority complex, and to quite an unjustified extent.
