I'm not holding my breath on this being a dominant player or anything, but more curious as to what will happen with a vision-dominant QB build. Slowbuilding him for 2-3 years while intense training strength/throwing...Please weigh in and tell me what you think may happen

I'm all for experiments, so will be interesting to see. QB to me so far has been one of those positions with little debate on what the first cap should be, and that's throwing.

Right - I agree. I've had a ton of successful builds based on throwing with secondary as vision & strength. I'm curious as to the potential success this build could have if the game changes the way the vision is rolled

INTeresting idea

Just kidding, it will be very interesting to see what happens. A player with well over 100 Vision with High Throwing may just make the perfect GLB QB.

Haha - IF I don't get booted out of town for taking too many seasons early on to build the player!

I've built one that was primary vision and built one primary throwing. Didn't notice too much of a difference in the first couple of seasons. Late game might be more interesting to see, but early on interceptions are pretty hard to throw so it didn't factor in.

The secret is keeping confidence low (ie. 3/1 or 4/1 cap at most). You should have more than enough confidence if you stock up on HoC heading into the playoffs. Far too often I see QB's go insane with confidence, then come playoff time they've got overkill confidence with ho-hum vision and strength.

Doing that, I still think majority in throwing is better, since that complements the Tight Spiral SA and pass quality +%.

I made a QB that peaked Confidence first. He's doing rather well... but you can never tell. Everything changes season to season.

He's done ok, fairly well.....

I would say he is better when Throwing is higher than Vision though.

Thanks for all the feedback. It will be pretty interesting to see in 2-3 seasons, when throwing and strength are both capped to a point where he could make an impact. Interesting stuff on the confidence bit - that will certainly be my 4th attribute and not a huge concern this early, but will change as he ages

Has high vision, well 102. Throwing needs to be the highest.
I would rather have 102 vision and 125 throwing, like he does than vice versa.

Jeff Garcia was the first one to do this very long ago.

AKA, the best QB in GLB history
