Hello everyone. I (obviously) created a linebacker. Here, what did I completely mess up on?

Excited to be here, this game looks sick.

You spread your SPs too thin. Start over, put all your SPs that you HAVE to assign into one attribute, save all the other SPs you don't have to spend. Here you are either advised to train your primary to 33 and then start capping when you have enough SPs while training next attributes, or train other atrributes right away and wait until you have the SPs to cap the primary.

Read the wiki on caps, and read these boards for tips on builds and training, but the first thing to know is that just because you have SPs doesn't mean you should spend them.

OK. Thanks. So when I level up next I shouldn't use them yet, but wait until I get enough to go to 33?

What I understood was to take the SP's that you get and must assign and put all you can (up to 25) into one of your main (Speed, if you're making a blitzer), then the rest into Agility. After that, you'll get 15 more SPs, which you should not spend. Rather, heavy train Speed/Agility until you have enough SP's to get Speed all the way to 48.07 (the first cap), then spend all your points at one time to get the ability (Speed) to the point where it costs 2 SP's to increase instead of just one. That's capping, as far as I understand it.

Check out this link for more info on capping and potential builds.

Yes, unless you made him from reward points. Those are non-refundable.
