What's the most anyone has had? I just put up 20 and I was wondering if anyone can beat that. 16 games, no playoffs or preseason BS

looks as though he has passed me up in career INTs as well :/ although i guess it helps that he isnt retired yet, and i retired dan 2 seasons ago.

Shit. Can't get anywhere near that.
As a follow on. How high is his catching? Or whats a decent number for catching? My CB has about 28 at LvL 56. I love he gets loads of PD's, but I ignored catching and wouldn't mind a few more INT's

My guy [ http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1404429 ] got 9 INT's this season with 33 Catching. He also led the League with PD's [80+ I believe].
Getting a pick has as much to do with finding the sweet spot on the Man Coverage Cushion slider bar as it does Attributes [my opinion]. I'm sure Catching helps, but I don't think its the "be all end all" of this conversation.

well back then, i think my guy had probably somewhere around 40 catching, and at the end of his career, had just over 50 (open build btw), so im not really entirely sure how much catching helps... its been a bit enigmatic for a long time, but bort says it helps, so i guess we can assume it does... but again, how much remains a question. im gonna be making a CB in a few seasons that has 70+ catching (im just waiting to see how the training system pans out.). it will be fun to see how he turns out.
and as billy said, that slider is probably just as important as the build, it takes a lot of work on the slider to find that nice little spot that nets you INTs galore. its going to be different for every build, so i cant just throw out a number for you, but play around with it, and im sure you'll find something. i generally play my CBs at about +60 fwiw.

Many folks will tell you its about "baiting" the QB to throw to your side. That's the slider bar discussion.
+60? Wow. I keep Lou in the negatives, not by much, but still below zero.
Maybe I'll try higher yet ...

yeah, ive found that BH can usually make up all that ground pretty easy. its all about trying to find that spot, where you can jump the route, but if you miss the PD roll, then you are still right there for the easy tackle for 0 YAC. i wouldnt go so high as 60... ive even being coming a bit lower than that recently as i found my self giving up some easy underneath routes (should be fixed as my build starts to round out some more), but i would start maybe around +30 and see what you get. if you feel like you are giving up too many underneath passes, move it a little closer, and if you feel like you can get further off your man without letting him rack in reception after reception, go ahead and bump it further.

Thats usually where my guy is set, -75 to -100 depending on tactics. Most I'd heard was probably +30 or so, will have a play about with it in upcoming scrimms...

Do you watch all of your dot's plays to see if you give up 6 jumping the route?
Edit: Looking at your build [which is open, btw], you're a non-booster in a 46 League. That's a bit different than the situation my guy is in; 10-1/2 seasons to my 7.

Yep, it's open because playoffs are over and put him on the market.
Could you explain the difference please? Thanks
