With the reduced number of players in the player pool and no proposed resolution on the horizon to try and fill the void for season 16, I will be putting Athens up for sale in season 16 and merging into the WEAAA Glasgow Tigers, our sister club.

In my opinion, we've always been a high class franchise; competitive, active in the forums and supportive of the community.

When you look at the GLB landscape and number of quality agents and quality builds, I don't think the number of leagues and teams are sustainable. I think that part of that is due to how overpriced FPs are, and part of that is due to changes that are against the grain of the existing player base and game structure.

My hope is that the changes come fast and furious, because changes handed out piecemeal burden the customer with incongruities between experience and expectation.


We will not be pulling any punches in our last game against Stirling and hope to upset them with a team boost and revamped offense.

the biggest problem is it costs 600 or 900 flex to boost almost every position, but only 400 flex to own a team. Either it needs to costs 1,000 flex (or more) to own a team or it needs to cost less to boost a player. But the fact that I can pay for 2 teams for the same price as boosting a WR is crazy especially considering they don't do much until they are level 50.

Or, if you build them like me, they never do much.
