His team is disbanding, and rather than finding a new team, I was going to retire him and turn him into a coach. Now that coaches are postponed, I'm considering keeping him around.

I would probably retire.

If you can roll a couple +3 SPD/SV or Deflect Ball or . and get someone to upgrade them and work around with your other equipment. He just isn't fast enough for higher. He performs ok though, seems to make decent plays in the close games.

All upgrades into spd + 6 CE would put him at 117 speed.

Would 116 speed, 74 agility work?

I don't think the build's that bad I was countering keets. It's not perfect by any stretch but I've seen much worse. I do think your agi eq should move to speed. And if you want to play at the high levels you need CE. You also need to get your tertiary attrs capped - str, jum, sta, con

Thanks for the input. My question was serious though, if I put all of my equipment into speed, plus custom, I'll have 116 speed and only 74 agility. Is that enough agility to match 116 speed?

I wouldn't move your vision piece. As for whether or not 74 agi is enough for a free safety, it probably is not; but it's not ridiculously low either. I still think the eq's better on speed. You can always push agi up more for a lot cheaper than pushing speed up.
