Sorry, I got hung up at work until 10 pm tonight and never had time to write anything up, so let's just see what the Experts have to say and cut out my useless ramblings.
So with no further ado (and in the order they were received):
=============NAGA =============
Shadow Lake Snakeheads (8-5) at Palembang Drunk Monks (10-3)
THE EXPERTS: Monks 4, Snakeheads 0
<0> Victory Jones <0>
This is a pretty even matchup... common opponents usually tell a pretty revealing story....but not this game....the Snakeheads are a mystery to me... one game they look great holding the Dwarfs to 26... another game they get run outta the virtual stadium by the likes of PDP or the Smurfs... as much as I'd like to pick Jekyll, I'm afraid Hyde will show up... besides, how can you not pick a team with these bouncin along on your homepage http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=694178... tbh, I just dont think the Snakeheads' O can generate enough scores to match the Monks. Monks, 24-13
<0> Dujoman <0>
I just like who and how PDM has beaten better than SLS. Im very impressed with both teams and it will be a close game. But PDM showed us against PDP that they can win close games. Monks
<0> Polorl69 <0>
I expected SLS to be better this season. Monks, 41-17
<0> kcfdx <0>
Shadow Lake can look like a Black Mamba at times. Other times they look more like a common brown snake coiled up in a porcelain bowl. The Monks have had their hiccups also (I wonder why?), but have been a little more consistent. Monks
Portland Dirty Penguins (9-4) at Cambodia Mountain Men (7-6)
THE EXPERTS: PDP 3, CMM 1
<0> Victory Jones <0>
CMM doesnt have the firepower this season to run with the 'Guins... nor will they be able to stop them... could be a rout... PDP, 48-16
<0> Dujoman <0>
I'm going with the "up-set" win here for CMM, but this could swing either way. CMM
<0> Polorl69 <0>
PDP wins this one big by getting the ball into the hands of their all purpose back and future MVP Jimmy Cliff. PDP, 52-20
<0> kcfdx <0>
Both of these teams have been rebuilding a bit during the past couple seasons. Apparently it takes less time to build an Igloo than a grass hut on the side of a mountain. Especially when you are a dirty penguin that doesn't mind building with yellow snow. I hear the salt deposits add some structural stability. PDP
=============GARUDA =============
Buffalo Rampage (13-0) at Three Kingdom Warriors (10-3) (8-4)
THE EXPERTS: Buffalo 3, TKW 1
<0> Victory Jones <0>
TKW is one of the truly great franchises to come outta SEAPL... great gameplanners, great mgmt, great ownership... but there are some old dots on that roster... that said, the Rampage has never beaten TKW... Buffalo started the season with chem in the 40s, yet keeps on winning games... nothing eyepoppin... no huge statlines.... no 100 point blowouts... not one individual player on their roster in the top 10 among the league leaders in any statistical category... except wins. Buffalo, 35-27
<0> Dujoman <0>
This is for homefield advantage for TKW and I think they will come out fighting with all they got to win this. This is big, huge, humongous and larger than nagaplz. TKW
<0> Polorl69 <0>
Buffalo's offense looks like it is coming around as of late. they can't look past TKW because they have the ability to beat them. I think Buffalo's defense wins this for them, in a very close one Buffalo, 24-21
<0> kcfdx <0>
TKW has proved that they are still a solid team that can do some damage. However, Buffalo has been on a rampage this season and doesn't want to ruin their upcoming Tet a tete next week. Buffalo
Bangalore Monsoon (10-3) at The New York Empire (6-7)
THE EXPERTS: Monsoon 4, Empire 0
<0> Victory Jones <0>
the Monsoon are a dangerous team and at this point in the season cant afford to drop any games they are supposed to win... with TKW nipping at their heels for that 4th seed, they can put themselves in the drivers seat and control their own destiny for that final home playoff spot setting up a season finale, week 16 showdown with TKW... the Empire need this game to keep their slim playoff hopes alive... Monsoon, 38-20
<0> Dujoman <0>
The Empire will crumple and be left in ruins by the mighty Monsoon Monsoon
<0> Polorl69 <0>
I don't know anything about NYE except that Tet beat them by like 100 points Monsoon, 72-10
<0> kcfdx <0>
This is the lackluster featured matchup this week, and should prove to be a wash out. Monsoon
