I told that kraut a fucking thousand times that I don't roll on Shabbos!
67 for 68 nao. Which is fuggin sexy imo. Hopefully none of your cried in your Fruit Loops Sunday morning upon discovering no W10 picks. What can I say? When RL beckons, I answer that call. Clearly I need to get my priorities in line.
Narma Purple Nunthers Conference GOTW
tbh I may not pick a GOTW again for you guys til that W16 NPN/PP game, unless a matchup really jumps out at me. I mean, I’m terribly important, and have many, many things to do. So, you understand. Right? Anywho...
München Zeebachs (7-3) @ Speyside Whiskies (8-2): pboggs is probably close to thinking I’ve got a mancrush on him, what with all the Speyside inclusions in GOTWs. While I like Underdog and The Glenlivet as much as the next guy, don’t misunderstand... you’re just lucky I guess. >_> There’s a little bit of history (animosity, perhaps?) between these two; the Zeebs upset the top-seeded Whiskers in the Alpha conf championship last season in AAA #2. That one probably put a bad taste in the mouths of the Speysides that no amount of single malt can wash away, I reckon. Do they avenge that here? Hard to say... the Zeebs lost to Tulsa by 20 in W3, Speyside just beat Tulsa by 15 last game. For that reason, I’m taking the latter, but I think it’ll be close. Whiskies by 4.

GOTW
Dresden Demons (6-4) @ Warsaw Wolves (7-3): Dresden wins, they propel themselves back into the running for a home playoff game. They lose and can kiss those hopes goodbye. Even with a loss, Warsaw probably remains in good position for a home playoff game, thanks to that win against Bath back in W2. Both teams have recent losses to Alpine in their rearview mirror; since Warsaw played them a little bit closer, they’re my pick here. Warsaw by 13.
The Legion (8-2) @ The Evil Empire (10-0): The Legion will be my preseason pick to rep Zeta in next season’s WEPL title game. But that amounts to a hill of beans here. Evil by 56.
Hamburg Parrots (6-4) @ Alpine (9-1): Alpine looked impressive last time out, racking up 600+ yards of total offense, despite 3 fumbles. Their passing attack will carve the Parrots up like it’s Thanksgiving in the rainforest. Because, you know, that’s what they eat on Thanksgiving in the rainforest - Parrot. It’s true. Alpine by 45.
Bath Killer Bees (8-2) @ Munich Keggers (3-7): Munich’s season of misery doesn’t get any better here. Kudos to the folks at BKB for bouncing back after the early season stumbles. Bees roll and are probably already GP-ing for Evil, tbh. Bees by 42.
Rome Titans (0-10) @ Lyon Winemakers (8-2): Did you know that no word in the English language rhymes with ‘month’? Lyon by 255+.
Baden Bandits (6-4) @ Bjelasnica Red Star (2-8): imo the question isn’t whether Baden will win, or even by how much; rather what I’d like to know is whether BRS will cease to exist at season’s end. Baden by 49.
Black Sea Raiders (5-5) @ Rome Arcani (0-10): The Raiders finish a little vacation before beginning a tough stretch of games to close out the season. Raiders by 100+.
Stockholm Meatballs (1-9) @ Belfast Commandos (3-7): Belfast appears to have only one goal this season, and that’s getting Jumbo the MVP. The Meatballs D will certainly help the cause. Belfast by 73.
