I think this started last year when many QBs were seeing their completion percentages drop. It seems even more challenging this year, with sacks and hurries seemingly up.....it has me wondering if some additional investment in the Pocket Presence SA is warranted.

By definition, the SA "Decreases the effect of pressure on the QB's throws". With INTs a huge morale killer, I'm thinking of getting this higher than the 7 I have it at already.

Obviously it would be easier to just say "get a better Oline"....its not like my QBs are getting creamed.....just curious as to the experiences of other QBs.

Thoughts?

I've had 8 in PP for my 2nd season now....

game 3, 8/25, 6 sacks 17 hurries
game 4, 3/20 6 sacks, 12 hurries
game 5, 10/33, 4 sacks, 22 hurries
game 8, 4/22, 3 sacks, 18 hurries

This has been miserable compared to last season.

I prefer going max or near max HoC instead. Stock up on other things indirectly benefiting your confidence, such as Tight Spiral, throwing, vision, etc. since every incomplete pass impacts your QB's morale. My QB has been doing phenomenal and he only has 6 PP. The key is I disregarded confidence (I only have 66 @ lvl 66) in favor of more throwing, vis, and str. I can always compensate lack of confidence with HoC later.

Of course some may question "what if my QB doesn't make the playoffs?" In my opinion, that's inexcusable. There's no excuse not to be playoff worthy because every league, even the Pro's, have a few cpu teams, lousy owners, etc. If you're not making the playoffs, you've got issues.

I agree with that... I put 10 into natural leader and only have 6 in HoC but really even if you have a decent team you should make the playoffs no matter if your outleveled by 3 or 4.
