Hey, I'm making my first CB after doing Safeties previously. I'm a man specialist with about 28 speed and 25 agility, but only 15 in vision and jumping. I have not used any of my skill point (lvl 6 = 25 points left to spend), only been training speed and agility to get it to where it's at. I want to be a decent corner, so I know speed and agility are needed, but what should I do with my points? Can someone give me some advice on what to do?

Thanks in advance

Take speed up to 73 and let the agl take it the rest of the way...

Train speed by itself until it gets to 32-33 and then start dumping SP in to it. Bring speed to 5:1 while training agility/vision together. After you have speed at the cap you would like, start pumping agility until it matches speed.

This method may not be the best option once the new training is released, but it works well now.

Bad advice imo.

Train speed as close to 99% as it will get without training it over.
Third cap it, train it over once.
Do the same with agility, then vision, then jumping.

You'd have 40 SP if you hadn't spent any by level 6. You get 15 to start with, then 5*5 is 25 for leveling up to 6.

If you want the best player you can make, you'll want to start over. You could have first capped speed by level 2, and second capped it by level 6. You're missing out on the ALGs already.

You could do it that way if you want to end up with mediocre builds. I prefer to make dominant dots, so I follow a less worn path...

The only thing waiting to cap gets you is less overall SP value. Welcome to GLB.

When your player is lvl 6 it will take him a few games between leveling. The gain on training at 35%+ is greater than what will be lost in hypothetical ALG losses.

If you are seriously "welcoming me to GLB" I will gladly compare my builds to yours...

actually, no its not. just from ALGs, a CB will gain at least 5.5 SPs on speed from lvl 6 to 10. you cant gain 5.5 SPs on an attribute from training when its 35+ in the time it takes to go from lvl 6-10.

by 5.5 you mean 2.5 right?

0.5 SP per ALG * 5 levels= 2.5 SPs

Assuming you're talking about a major attribute which splits 2 SP into 4 categories for 1/2 of a SP.

no, i mean 5.5 SPs.
by lvl 6, you should have at least 60.5 speed.
lvl 7 brings you to 61 through ALGs (1 SP), and then you can take it to 63 with 6 SPs (1 SP left over from lvl 6)
lvl 8 brings you to 63.5 through ALGs (1.5 SP), and then you can take it to 64.5 with SPs
lvl 9 brings you to 65 through ALGs (1.5 SP) and then you can take it to 67 with SPs (2 SP left over from lvl 8)
lvl 10 brings you to 67.5 through ALGs (1.5 SP) and then you can bring it to 69.5 with SPs.

1+(1.5x3)=5.5 SP
