You want a toe? I can get you a toe, dude. Get you a toe by 3 o’clock.
Never will I forgive the Black Sea Raiders for soiling what had been an unblemished scorecard of prognosticating. As fate would have it, guess who my team visits this week? (I'm totally doing the Dr. Evil pinky thing at the mo)

ALFuh GOTW
Speyside Whiskies (5-2) @ Black Hand (5-2): Could very easily have gone w/ the E-City @ Borg matchup too, as I think that’ll be a really exciting game, and really, had E-City shown a little more fight in any of their three really tough games thus far (all Ls), it’d probably be that one. But there’s a glut of 5-2 teams in ALF’s conference and this pits two of them against one another. Speyside’s shown they’re a p good team that will be in the mix for a home playoff game. The question is, how good is the Black Hand? I mean, their most impressive W on the season is over an aging 3-4 Belfast team. Still though, these two are similarly leveled and equally deep, so I expect this to be a good dotball game. Whiskies by 7.
Whiskies 14-10
The Champion’s Conference
GOTW
Bath Killer Bees (5-2) @ Dresden Demons (5-2): There’s a glut of 5-2 teams in Zeta too, and I’m hard-pressed to find a better matchup than this one. Both these squads appear to be rolling now after early season stumbles. Coincidentally, both teams are probably hanging their hats on wins over The Legion the last couple of weeks. That Dresden ground game has remained a constant all season; the Bees, likewise, have put up some impressive rush totals of late, and when they don’t turn the ball over remain a legitimate contender, imo. Bees by 6.
Bees 35-30
Munich Keggers (2-5) @ Baden Bandits (5-2): This is the only game on tap that imo has a chance to be close other than the GOTW. Munich’s had a tough time adjusting to the level of play in Pro ball while Baden’s record is a little bit deceiving in that 3 of those wins are against also-rans. That said, Munich got on my bad side by losing to BSR last week and I’ve got to give credit to Baden for their Ws the first two weeks of the season. Baden by 10.
Bandits 78-24
The Evil Empire (7-0) @ Black Sea Raiders (4-3): The one game on BSR’s schedule thus far that they were never in is, unfortunately for them, a p good litmus test as to how they’ll match up w/ us, as we’re similarly leveled w/ the Bees. Evil by 42.
Evil 129-6
Rome Arcani (0-7) @ Alpine (6-1): The only question is whether Alpine will score more than the high-water mark of 251 that Lyon put up against these guys. Alpine by 200+.
Alpine 146-0
Lyon Winemakers (5-2) @ Hamburg Parrots (4-3): Hamburg’s passing attack is p good; their defense isn’t. Harsh, I know. But true. Lyon runs away with this one, literally. Lyon by 35.
Lyon 55-41
Bjelasnica Red Star (2-5) @ Warsaw Wolves (5-2): After dropping two straight, the Wolves get a respite, and a chance lick their wounds, before a chance at redemption in two weeks. Wolves by 56.
Wolves 84-20
Stockholm Meatballs (1-6) @ The Legion (5-2): The Legion, another team on a two game skid, say their thanks and crank up the grill to charbroil some Meatballs. The Legion by 120+.
Legion 69-9
Belfast Commandos (2-5) @ Rome Titans (0-7): Zzzzz. Belfast by 400+.
Commandos 541-0
xoxoxo
