Ok so how does this damn thing actually work.

I had my teams Qb playing on 75 open man and he seemed to keep missing the obvious and then holding onto the ball and taking the sack.

Then I read a thread saying that the open man side of the slider actually referred to 'how open' the reciever had to be. So 100 would be totally open while the middle of the slider would allow the QB to hit people in a little cover.

I tried dropping Open man to 40 (towards open man) and upping bullett to around -40 bullett as well in the hopes he would spot someone with a little space and hit him fast.

What I actually got was the opposite, he now refuses the throw the ball to anyone, instead taking 13 sacks from 29 plays last game, making 2 'rushes' and throwing only 9 passes that were on target.

For a Qb with well over 100 throwing and 80+ vision what the hell is his problem. His receivers are open a lot, even against our toughest opponents but the QB just ignores them, he even looks at them then moves on and looks to someone else...then decides he likes the ball too much and drops it down to the cradle and gently strokes it while he waits the be sacked.

ANY suggestions or advice would be very very warmly received at this point as I am so tired of this terrible sim.

This is something I would love to know. My QB is having the same struggle and I don't know what too do with the slide crap. I hate that it has come to all of this. My team's QB can't complete a pass going 6-31. I there with you as well. I'm tired of this sims as well.

The open man slider is the QB's passing priority-whether he is more likely to throw to the open receiver or more likely to throw to the man farther down field. So hypothetically, you should get a higher completion percentage with the slider towards open man. On a side note, I have my QB set at 0 for priority and -20 to bullet.

Unfortunately, I don't really have any suggestions. Everything seems kind of random if you ask me.

You guys might not care about what I have to say because of his level.. But I've had a lot of success with this QB and he is set to +30 Lofty and +0 Open Man

At the higher levels I like to go with -75 bullet and +50 or so route...but if you have trouble with your OL and are getting sacked more I would change to much less route or even open man...depending on how bad your sacks are getting.
