Greetings and welcome to the 5th installment of Haole's Expert Picks of the Week. Mr. Haole is enjoying a bit of respite at the moment, yet his impact upon the league is felt so greatly, that others have offered to fill in during his absence. That's what happens when a dynamic personality emerges from the crowd. He's found a way to unite a group of bantering individuals to a common cause of his creation. Thank you Mr. Haole, now on with the show....
As we have finished the first quarter of the regular season, only six teams remain undefeated, three from each conference and a picture is beginning to emerge as to the power structure of the league. In this installment, we shall look at five games selected for their interest value at the top of their conferences. Let's get it on!

=============OVERVIEW =============
Week 4 sucked for the experts as they failed to prognosticate a single game. On the bright side, not a single expert chose incorrectly. Hopefully a happy medium can be found this week. As I pen this, it is not entirely certain as to who our panel of experts shall be for this installment, but I leave it in the capable hands of MadCow to make the introductions and cast aspersions upon the integrity and validity of our experts.
Sup Bitches, We dont have many experts this week, Seems like alot of the exerts are join Haole at the April NAMBLA meeting
http://www.nambla.org/
But The experts who did join us this week did a good job picking up the slack, BTW Im pretty sure kcfdx stole my angle for the Smurfs match up.... Polors picks look like an abortion like normal. Quinn's analysis was finally spell checked after his 3rd PM, and Im funny as usual...
Id like to apologize to anyone who's team isnt in the rankings and Id like to explain, Its either because you suck, or because you are playing Tet or Saigon and its not worth it....
=============HAOLE'S GAME OF THE WEEK =============
=============With Quinn pinch hitting =============
Lucid D.R.E.A.M. (3-1-0) vs. Bangalore Monsoon (3-1-0)
I've only been familiar with Lucid D.R.E.A.M. for a couple of seasons now and they are scary good. Currently leading the entire league in rushing, Lucid has the second overall offense while supporting the fifth ranked defense, the second ranked Punt Return game and are 4th in Kick Returns. There is nothing that Lucid does poorly and it would seem the owner, coordinators and GMs are able to squeeze every last drop out of their players. Of particular note is the game they played against the Buffalo Rampage. Lucid's only loss of the season, by a score of 35 to 27, saw two powerhouse teams collide with only one (1) yard of offense dividing them! This is a team to be reckoned with. Well built, well managed and hard as nails. Is there a weakness in their game? Save yourself the trouble of asking their other three opponents that they've beaten by a combined score of 487 to 24.
On the other hand.... I am immensely familiar with the Bangalore Monsoon and can probably tell you what color of socks the Owner and DC had on today. These are my homies, in this game and in real life. We started this game together and formed the core of the Arrowhead/Bangalore alliance that has seen substantial success from SEAPL to Canada Pro. This being our first season apart, we expected to retire most of our players and start new ventures. However, due to rather high interest in our aging players, I went mercenary and they brought in their reserves to make another run at the SEAPL title. At this moment, Bangalore would prefer to stay under the radar after the loss to Tet, but fate has something else in mind. Bangalore will be forced to bring their A-Game to this one and I know what they have under the hood. It is considerable. Underestimate this team at your own peril. The DC is the equal to the best in this game and they have a high powered AI available on offense. I know, because I left it there. If you expect to read where I give away their secrets.... it's not happening.
In this game between two teams, four teams will be exposed. The entire upper echelon of Garuda will be up for comparative analysis after this. With Lucid and Buffalo proving to be so evenly matched, Bangalore can step over both with a decisive win, although they will have to wait awhile longer to make it official when they play Buffalo. Which would leave Tet as the lone superpower in the conference. However, a win by Lucid would clarify the standings of the top three or four teams and most likely establish at least three as homefield favorites for the playoffs. And yes, it is that clear even this early in the season. Good luck to both teams.

And now without further ado, I present to you a man known to Mods as a villain, others a comedian and still others, a solid friend. Mr. MadCow Something-Or-Other! (Quick! Write something before you're banned again!)
***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
OK So lets see what the Experts and MadCow think....... Tie, 2-2
<0> Quinn <0> I respect you Lucid, but I'll never pick against Bangalore unless I'm up against them personally. I'm bias and I don't care. Bangalore has everything they need to win. The problem with picking a score is... I don't know what to expect with my risktaking removed from the equation. Lucid D.R.E.A.M. 24 vs. Bangalore Monsoon 27
<0> Polor <0> Two of the top teams in Garuda here. I honestly think that DREAM are the 2nd best team in garuda. They have had one hiccup vs Buffalo but I think that had alot to do with their owner/DC ijayarider being on vacation on the right coast. Lucid runs the ball all day on Bangalore to win a tight one that is full of turnovers. Lucid 27-24
<0> MadCow <0> 2 of the best teams in Garuda, behind Tet
, Im convinced Lucid doesnt care about the lolregular season, but no one likes to lose. Bangalore is old and Boring, But old teams cant rely on the playoffs because of decline, So ill take Bangalore now, and Lucid in the playoffs...
<0> kcfdx<0> Bangalore - Finally a lolgaruda matchup to get excited about. These two teams appear to be very well matched. It should be close. But in the end I think Bangalore will turn the D.R.E.A.M. into a nightmare, Queensryche style, and silence lucidity.
