Is this SA worthwhile at all? Rolled a +3 agility +One Handed Catch AEQ

nope... it's a decent place holder until you find somethign better though... but just pretend you rolled a +3 AGI piece... because in effect that's what this is.

Pretty much, 4 preseason and 3 regular season games with 12 in the SA and haven't even seen an attempt. Needless to say AEQ is being moved around.

1 handed catch (unlike jump catch and diving catch) NEVER shows up in the pbp. As such, saying that it sucks because you've never seen it activate would be incorrect. I'm not saying it does or doesn't suck, but rather that no one really knows.

Also (fwiw) at least jump catch still can help with rolls in plays where it doesn't activate on the pbp.

Personally I think that's a nice piece OP, though unless you wanna travel down the possession tree, you can likely find a better spot.

i think it might show up less because its down the line of action that would happen.. meaning, if a ball is thrown high or low.. then you dive or jump for it.. that might be enough to catch it, so in that case you wouldn't see it fire.. it would only (possibly) fire after this failed. im not sure how it works or MAYBE it just adds height (reach) to your roll, so that you wouldn't see it fire.. MAYBE it just says you caught the ball but the extra height (reach) was calculated into the roll.
no one knows.. maybe a question to ask in the Q and A. that would be the only way to know.

P sure all the SAs add flat bonuses, and they also add larger situational flat bonuses.
Who knows? One Handed Catch might be an insane modification on your catching score.
