OK, this is really fucking boring on this forum. So I am going to attempt to make a return to my predictions that I did back in AAA a couple seasons ago. I am not making any guarantees that I will be able to do this for every game, or even ever again.

Also, for those familiar with my predictions, you will know that I talk mainly out of my ass. I would much rather go for obvious jokes than accurate predictions. If by chance my predictions are right though, then I knew it all along and in your face.

Here we go:

#1 Iowa Barnstormers @ #10 Venetian Blinds
Gee, that co-owner on Iowa sure does look familiar. I just can't place him though. I also can't seem to get away from him either. Apparently he doesn't have enough to do with CPL though because he has another team in AAA. Iowa went undefeated in the regular season last season and then lost the conference championship game. Ouch. no trophy for you! They seem to be on track to make a run for it again this season. If they are going to get beat, it will be early in the season while they are still suffering in chemistry, The Venetian Blinds represented the East well and brought in a much needed win for the East...and then followed it up by getting their ass stomped in by a team they severely outleveled. hmmm. Iowas may be more susceptible early in the season, but the Blinds won't be the ones. The barn is bright and Iowa closes the Blinds 64-9

#2 Bloodweiser Bugle All Stars @ #13 East Coast Chaos
Here are two of my favorite teams from AAA 2. and by favorite I mean not favorite. Bloodweiser typically goes through a season all chipper and friendly all the while kicking your teeth in, which is just sending mixed signals like that bitch Ashley Davis did in 8th grade, but that's another story. Bloodweiser is definitely holding on to some old timers who have been feared...in the past. Decline is going to keep them from being a threat in the playoffs, but this is only game 3. East Coast suffered a disappointing loss in the playoffs last year and also lost the best OC to play the game. They are also 0-2 which might allow this strong team to sneak in under the radar. Unless Bloodweiser also reads this post which is unlikely considering thelanger's illiteracy problems. Either way, look for East Coast to bounce back from an overwhelming curb stomping to just a mere slap in the face this game. Bloodweiser wins another 35-24

#3 Hudson Bay Horrors @ #9 Cobden Muskrats
Hudson Bay is all smoke and mirrors. They have been getting by on trick plays and cheap shots. Cobden on the other hand was slightly unprepared for their first game of the season and then showed their true colors in the last game. What the hell is a muskrat anyways? I know that's just a beaver in the logo too, you're not fooling me. Anyways, Hudson Bay has had a pretty consistent score, which they will keep up this week as well. However, Cobden's recently unleashed offense will be too much, Muskrats dam the Hudson Bay 56-42

#4 Paradise Cheeseburgers @ #11 Yellowknife Rented Mules
You gotta love the early season where everyone gets ranked and teams like these can be at nearly opposite ends of the rankings despite having an identical record. I guess that would be because Yellowknife decided to sign an entire cloud team to a Pro team. The Cheeseburgers are a very good team though and just barely lost their first game. Yellowknife will be no problem for them although this could be the first time this season Yellowknife isn't involved in a 255-0 game, but it probably won't. It's just too bad that they aren't the rented pigs because then Paradise could make themselves a delicious bacon cheeseburger. har har har! Paradise flame grills the Mules 138-0

#5 Village Dogs @ #12 Charlesburgh Black Iron Dragons
Interesting matchup. Village Dogs are playing very well despite their obvious disadvantage in levels. That means either great builds or great GM's or most likely both. yikes. Charlesburgh is still looking for their first win in a pretty damn stacked opening schedule. If they want to keep from going 0-5, now is the time. Time to take a look at the old AI and figure out what the hell is going wrong. oh, and more than 1 adjective for your mascot is overboard. Please just pick either Black Dragons or Iron Dragons. Black Iron Dragons is silly. Charlesburgh wins a cool awesome game against Village 21-12

#6 Gergovie Les Gaulois @ #7 Niagara Maulers Ah, the Frenchies. It's so good to have them back in the same league. They always provide so much cannon fodder. For those interested I believe Babelfish gave the the loose translation of Gergovie Les Gaulois as "French Gays". Odd name for a football team. This is actually going to be a very good game. If I were to name a game of the week, this would be it, but I'm not going to name a game of the week so nevermind. Niagara is always tough as hell. They bring their A game and rarely lose 2 in a row. Gergovie is also a much different team than when I saw them last 2 seasons ago. Gergovie managed to pull off the upset of the year in the playoffs last season. A win that they could never, NEVER repeat if they got a million more chances. Niagara will be ready this game. Niagara falls all over the Les Gaulois and wins 32-10

#8 Cleveland BrownSnakes @ #16 Thunder Bay ERRATICS
Apparently you only scream the mascot in Thunder Bay. I don't normally predict games against CPU teams, but I really just wanted to type out Cleveland BrownSnakes, which is an awesome name....and also use it in a prediction. BrownSnakes are too huge for players of Thunder Bay and spit out a win of 255-0

#14 Cape Verde Kings 2.0 @ #15 Puvirnituq Musketeers
What the hell happened to the musketeers and where the hell is Puvirnituq? oh, and how bad could the Kings 1.0 have been for them to have put this team out as an improvement? Either way, this game of the winless will go a long way in proving, uh, that one of them will, uh, win a game? The Musketeers win 42-16 and cause Cape Verde to start considering what 3.0 is going to look like

That's it. Good luck to everyone that isn't playing me!

That other team in AAA is a LOL. They wanted me to DC for them. I think they forgot to remove me.

As for the Iowa team we are trying to get our CPL sea legs. I think the Blinds will cover your spread.

Thanks for predicting this losing streak to end.
I sure hope you're right, and hope we offer something better to write about down the line.

Hopefully we just played the 2 best teams in the league and that explains what the hell happened.
Oh, and Puvirnituq is right near Kangiqsualujjuaq, Ivujivik, Innukjuak, and Aujuittuq

Aujuittuq Tuttuqjuk

Aujuittuq, the Inuit name for the town of Grise Fiord, the northern most inhabited North American town (population: 150). The Inuit name means "the place that never thaws out" and the Norwegian name means "pig fiord [deep inlet]" because the walrus sounds sounded like pigs.
Tuttuqjuk - the word for "pig," although there are no pigs in the Hudson Bay, so the word directly translates to mean "queer deer" haha.

You're not wrong bout the decline - but we'll hope to be an awkward customer first in week 13 and then in the playoffs!

nice to see u doing write ups again, hope they continue.

Like Bloodweiser; Ashley Davis was clearly to good for you btw

I don't think decline will be hitting Bloodweiser hard enough by the playoffs to affect them much. I like Bloodweiser a lot this season. Prolly my favorite team here other than mine
