A bit discouraged when I see his effective level, but he is a pancake machine. What do you guys think? What advice can you give me.

Poorly built due to not slowbuilding. The huge pancake numbers are because of the blowouts last season. The vast majority of the pancakes came when your team won by 255 points.

As for advice, not much to give at his level. He's 350 days old and only has about 8 more levels of SP, 11 if you boost him in his plateau season (assuming he's boosted this season. The most immediate impact you can have is to get his agility WAY up. Maybe try to find a line General SA AE and reset 15 VPs into Natural Leader so he can at least help out his buddies on the line.

If he was mine he'd be retired, we've all been there done that when we were learning how to build players. Cut your losses.

In my defense, he was my first player that I built. Being a noob at the time, I put SP's into SA's from the beginning which screwed him up.
