Heh, that isn't a terrible idea...as long you get a decent throwing level. P's already have good arm strength (and hopefully some agility and speed), then they could be an ok QB against weaker teams.
Well I put him on the depth chart as a bit of a joke tbh... I fell off my chair when I watched the playback and saw the dude taking snaps... and completing them...!
I plan on making one actually. This season I am sitting him, making him train on intense in strength. After this season, I am training vision the whole year and getting strength up. Season 5 is when he will start Punting.
Not worth doing - spend the money, get both. My first kicker spent his first season as a punter (my choice - I wouldn't do it again) and I now have 36 sp in punting that are wasted. My newest kicker is also doing it (owners choice - he doesn't believe in punters). Time will tell but I hope we don't have to rely on him to get us out from deep on ours side of the field. Even though this is a game the simulation needs certain skills to make the K or P do his job - sure you can train them all, but then you won't be worth a plugged nickel at either job

You shouldn't actually put points into it...just make him punt with 10 punting.
